It is almost frightening how good this is, how describing, how absolutely perfect this recalls the feeling of winter... Hope for the true and great winter might die in your feelings and your thoughts, but deep down in your heart that hope and dream always burns strong, ready to be unleashed as soon as that first glimpse of crisp snow starts showing itself from above as a sign to your desperation buried deep within.

I couldn't agree more. Watching this has given me hope. Snow will come. I really thought it had already begun earlier this year when the second snowfall covered the rest of the grass and the sound of snowmobiles echoed in the river valleys that I call home. The small local ski hill that brings memories every year was making snow. I really thought it was all here to stay. Then it happened, a week of weather that ruined it all. The snow was gone. All the work that has been going into snow making is gone. The snow budget for our small hill is pretty much gone. Im starting to think this is the year it doesn't open. I know that year is coming soon, but i didn't expect this soon. I really hope that the snow falls once more.
walbrecht99 wherever you are in the world man, I sincerely hope that the snow will find its way to your home. One can always travel far and wide in search for it, but there's nothing like watching it fall outside your own window.

Hi everybody...........I live in Maui, Hawaii for the past 20 years...During many years I have to get my head down and do my part as father, husband and business owner, but I never forgot that incredible filling to touch the snow,look up to the white mountains and the smell of the burning fire wood.... Years later I found my self so into this incredible videos with amazing places and stories to be tell and music.....I feel like r born, blessed and now, isn't about me, is about me and my young son getting so crazy , motivated and excited waiting for that big north swell coming inn in November but also waiting on that airplane that will bring us to Whistler......!!! That journey to life, to that page that my son and my self will keep and share for the resto of our lifes, for that white mountain and the feeling, that unique and only feeling of skiing . That cup of coffee that will go endless in life with another story to tell........Thanks Mike, Cody, Chris, Ray, Mark and every one and each of you for been able to express our soul, our real dreams.......From Maui, Aloha. Kinda sad though, that a lot of people -me included- can't afford keeping calm and waiting for snow to come, since they don't live in the mountains and can only go skiing for 2 weeks or so..
