Really enjoyed the change in pace this video had. Yes, it could have had talking (not one single word was narrated in the entire short) but none of that is necessary when you have the imagery and scenery provided by Bella Coola. Another great, unique episode, Salomon Freeski!
Loved the bear and dragon fly turning into the helicopter. That was very creative.
I love the simplicity of the video, just clean lines in a clean footage, nothing too out there. Feels good to have a change of pace once in a while in the episodes. Sometimes less is more!

Salomon Freeski TV just outdid themselves with this one! I love ski films as much as anyone, but sometimes it's really nice to experience something that steps out of the ordinary formula of the world's greatest athletes dominating crazy faces with amped up music shredding along in the background. Don't get me wrong, I can't get enough of that stuff, but the occasional detour can be very compelling, as this video is. To those of you who wish it had some more narrative or was more action packed, I'd like to emphasize that this video very intentionally does away with all of that. Instead, we are presented with a creative expression of what skiing is ultimately meant to be: a beautiful act best suited for beautiful locations. The video is intended to remind us of the simple joys and powerful emotions that can be evoked by partaking in this action. Think of it more as an art film about skiing than as a ski film. Also, I might add that neither format is inherently better than the other, in fact I'd venture to say that this format should remain seldom used, only for special occasions so to speak. Regardless, it remains a very nice meditation on the essence of skiing and definitely gave me some major skiing blue balls.

loved the change of pace with this episode ! Great work !
Love the diversity and creativity of clips you guys put out. Keep at it. Some clips just produce insane stoke which is clearly awesome. however, for myself this episode provoked the sense awe and wonder for the mountains. This is often the part of my skiing experience that draws me back to the mountains; sometimes more so than the thrill and excitement.

I think there needs to be a separate clip for that line at 2:27. It's incredible. I want to see that whole line an I wonder if there is a GoPro of that line from drop in to finish. Otherwise it's a good ep.

how did that line end at 2:32? the skier was coming up on a gnarly cliff band. did they drop the cliff or have to ski over the crevasse on the left?
They probably cut down to their right where there wasn't a cliff
