It's a shame that Kirrahe isn't available as a team member after meeting Thane in Citadel and later rescuing Bakara. He seems to be a guy who would say few funny things during gameplay.
Kirrahe can die in Mass Effect. If Thane died during the suicide mission, Kirrahe dies saving the Salarian Councilor. If Kirrahe died on Virmire & Thane died during the suicide mission, the Salarian councilor ends up dead.

I like Kirrahe, they should've made it to where he could become part of the Normandy Crew. He would've fit in well with Tali, Liara, Ash/Kaidan, and especially Garrus. In the Citadel DLC, at the party he could've helped Garrus and Zaeed rig the apartment or could've tried to drink Ash off the table. Oh, by the way, Kirrahe isn't brown - it's the lighting. He's not as vivid-green as he was in ME1, but if you look at when he's firing his Scorpion at 23:32 (where there's actual bright lighting), you see he's basically now a pale-shade of darker-green. You could say it's age, given the short life-span of Salarians and his "Never liked the idea of growing old anyway" quote if he dies later.
Am I the only one who think the salarians are super adorable? Especially that expression in 4:10 almost killed me >< and 8:00 also. God they are so cute~~
