Hi ! thank you so much for the sweet comment
the color that i used for the video was three white candles , when it melts it looks clear , but after dipping the flower a couple of times it will add layers to the flower so it will be white the flower !!! i have used baby pink and baby blue and it gives a soft tone to the flower if you want it darker look dip it a couple of more times into the wax , i still need to try darker colors like black and brown ! enjoy your beautiful day

I love making my homemade flowers and using the melted wax on them : ) The homemade flower that i just made i have a few like that in my bathroom and when they do have a little dust on them i just pass it through water and it all comes out : ) i love easy cleaning LOL and that i know of nothing gets stuck to them , as long as you let the flower dry , it will turn into a rock : )
enjoy your beautiful day my sweet friend

Hi : ) thank you so much for the sweet comment
you can use any type of colored candle you want , i use pink sometimes and baby blue candles also on the homemade flowers and it just add's a very light touch of the color to it but if you want a darker look dip it a couple of times and it adds more every time you dip it in ... i never had the chance to try it with darker colors like black or brown so i'm not sure how those will turn out ?
    enjoy your beautiful day

I made these exact same flowers with my mom when I was 8 years old. That was 51 years ago! The only difference is that we didn't use candle wax, but canning paraffin wax, and we used sheets of crepe paper, not streamers (I don't think they made streamers back then). My mom got the instructions from a magazine since we didn't have youtube or computers. For any moms out there that think this is too much work or too messy for an 8 year old, I remember it as one of the best times with my mom. And the roses we made were absolutely beautiful (at least to my little 8-year old eyes). Thanks for the memories.

The flowers that i used the glossy accents , yes you can use it on any project you want and for the flowers made out of wax yes you can use it too , just make sure that they are completely dried before using it , they should sound like a rock when you hit it against something , like you heard it on the video : ) so yes you can !!! i used them in some of my projects , on top of altered boxes and layouts
    enjoy your beautiful day
