I was concerned when I first had a whiff that it would be a little toilet cleaner like, but it’s actually pretty accurate to the real scent once you get into it.
Good to see you, Andy! Long time no see. I have to say, I think Rod and Mandy at Stirling make some of the best shave soaps for the money (cheesy descriptions and almost countless number of scents, notwithstanding! - Haha!). Stay safe and keep up the good work!
I’ve been here just doing some stuff over on Instagram. Right back in the mix on UA-cam now though. Stirling are one of those underrated artisans that just goes about their business without any fuss and put out some great shaving soaps. I’m a fan! Appreciate you watching as always Scott thank you 🙏🏻
Great shave and I always enjoy a good fir tree scent, I have a 1983 Black Beauty that I purchased for myself way back in the same year. But I plan on keeping it due it's the very first razor that I purchased for myself
Hey buddy good to see you back and thanks for watching. I’m determined to find a birth year black beauty, but in no massive rush. If one crops up I’ll consider snapping it up.
Hey Chris. My skin just doesn’t like the ‘standard’ 3 passes. I think new wet shavers especially think you HAVE to do 3 passes when really you just need to do what works for you. I’m actually in the middle of writing an article on this for Sharpologist.
@@theopinionatedbrit Yeah I agree 100%. Many newbies get the impression that you HAVE TO do 3 passes and do 1st pass with the grain, 2nd pass across and 3rd pass against. Not true at all. The beauty of traditional wet shaving is that you can tinker everything about it to suit your needs and preferences to perfection, such as the best scent and soap for you, best kind of razor, best blade for your skin etc...
Can imagine this must smell like Goodfellas Smile Pino Alpestre. Great soap too, recommend. Good to see you back on UA-cam! :) I'll share this to my Twitter. :)
I can’t comment as I haven’t tried Osark. From what I’ve heard though Osark is a little more complex with more notes. I do have it on my list of soaps to buy.
Great Christmas scent.

Glad I'm not the only one who just does two passes. I thought I was a lone wet shaving blasphemer!
I rarely do more than two. Any more is just taking off a layer of skin cells.

I only do 3 if I have a few days growth, if not, usually 2 also. 🪒
Nice video again. Good to see you back. Stay safe 👍
Thanks Andrew. I’ve just been doing stuff over on Instagram, but it’s good to be back.
One times Shovel RE 😂👍🏻 keep up the shaves dude 👍🏻
😂🤣😂 round edge not Royal Engineers. I couldn’t think of anything better to scoop soap out in. You can also fill miniature sand bags with it!
Tommy Shelby, Peaky Lather

Thanks Essex. I’ll have to get my hands on the Pino Alpestre. I love a good fresh scent!
@@theopinionatedbrit haha you're welcome! It's a good price, think you can get it for under a tenner. Splash is nice too. :)
Great shave Andy. That cream looks good. I’m trying to streamline my soap collection but otherwise I’d me on it !
Thanks Ash. Have you used the glacial lemon chill yet? I can send you a sample of the evergreen forest if you like?
Complex scented pine toilet cleaner lm in👍👍😉
Is that how I described it, or is that your take on it Flash? It’s been too long mate!
@@theopinionatedbrit
How you describe it.😁
And lve just realized this isn't a new video!😁👍
@@flashytubeboredom.1796 oh dear. I do tend to be honest in my opinions 😆. It is a nice scent though
How does this compare to Ozark? Anyone?
