I need the pedalboard and set up that you have, because I have the same Helix and the BigSky...can you PLEASE let me know how I can get that pedalboard and the layout?
Great video buddy God bless you,I just get My helix this week so keep it up ,helped me a lot I was thinking about the Fx before amp that way I usted use in the real board.thanks a lot
Try sticking a delay between two of your distortion pedals. It's something that Carlos Santana does and it fattens up the sound in a great way. Just a slight delay makes a huge difference. Thanks for taking the time!
Daniel....would love to try this patch out. I have a big sky as well, but find it cool where you place it in the chain. The amps at the end is interesting as well...Do you have the patch posted somewhere?
Any thoughts on IR's ? I never believed in them, but they sound great! And how does the Big Sky work for you? Definitely still better than the 2.5 update verbs? Great video btw, keep it up! Please post some sound samples, walk throughs, etc..... I bet many people will love hearing it. I sure would.
I cannot get my IRs to blend in the live mix well at all. It sounds great standalone guitar sound only. So i went back using the stock cabs, they cut in the live mix better.
essentially its the most natural sounding to me. I explain it more at the end of the video :) I think around the 9ish minute mark if I'm remembering correctly lol
Interesting to see how different people set up their signal chains - thanks for sharing! One thought - Since you're running the settings the same on both AC30's, you may want to consider putting a single AC30 amp before the split and using just cab blocks in the 2 chains at the end of path 2 (or a dual-cab block if you want them hard-panned anyway...). May save you up some DSP as you play around with the new verbs. Also - there is currently a bug with the 2.50 verbs (if you hadn't heard) so the mono versions don't sound quite right compared to the stereo verbs. Just an FYI. They also are going to adjust the mix knob on the new verbs so the dry/wet levels are a bit more balanced through the range (as of now, the dry level gets more quiet than it should as you push the mix)

Matheus Olguin so glad it helped!
Great video once again! As someone who doesn't own one of these (yet, at least) I love seeing what you can accomplish inside of one of these.
S19NAL C14AIN thank you!

Just curious, what made you go with amps at end of your chain? Interesting.

Thanks man! I actually am in the process of changing my second amp but didn’t want to disclose that info yet :)
daniel rainwater Makes sense. Interested to hear your thoughts on the new searchlights verb, I'll keep an eye out!
Andrew Redmond yes a verb video will be in near future!!
