There are as many types of mud as there are different kinds of snow. It ranges from just watery sand and dirt, to wet, sloppy dirt and clay, to wet clay, aka gumbo mud or slick clay. Clay just binds to the tires and acts as a lubricant. As good as the Wildpeaks are in snow, rain, and light mud, it can't handle the slick, gooey clay mud here. Just turns the tires into glazed donuts. Probably needed mud terrains by this point, or aggressive hybrids atnthe very least.
yep, i've been wheelin' with friends and I have Ko2's on my truck, buddies had everything from duratracs to wildpeak at3's, and we all get stuck in clay-based stuff like this. I'll probably swap to wildpeaks at3's after my ko2's die, mainly for the longevity and better rain handling. They do about the same in the snow and mud as the other main offerings in this category of tire.
That was the weakest attempt ever seen.4 hi.and nudging the rev.limiter was needed .4.7 v8 deserved a better driver..kudos to yall for being prepared though.
He has one of them high speed low drag, super slick Navy SEAL endorsed thigh holsters with a mag carrier on the front where your support hand can't get at it. Those universal fit jobs that don't fit anything right.
Next time try keeping the front tires straight, just keep them slightly tuned. When you turn too sharp, it will just slide & dig a trench. Looks like that was what was happening.
I would try putting the center differential on and putting it into the low gear range.... That would have helped with any car particularly this car... Also so just so you know that this car has a special feature of atrac it's not in the owners manual.... when you do what I just said, combined with if you put the shifter into the first gear 1 selection or when in the reverse gear, atrac applies higher brake fluid psi to apply the brakes more aggressively. That of course as wear-and-tear to your drivetrain and somewhat to your brakes but for a really bad stuck situation that's what that would be for

I loved you guys in brokeback mountain.:)
Air down
that looked brutal
It was 🥲
That mud has the consistency of potter's clay. It will clog even Super Swampers. No all terrain tires can handle that

Never trust anyone who carries one of those Walmart/Amazon holsters lol. They will get you killed every time.

“I don’t need crawl control. What even is that? Who would ever need that feature?”
**famous last words
I smell an episode of “I shouldn’t be alive “brewing
Glad you got out. I'm getting a winch for that reason
Same tire and lift on my 03 gx470, but mine never leaves the pavement, I just live dirt vicariously on UA-cam
We gotchu!

It's not 4wheelin if you don't get stuck!
Great job, you two.
Plenty of armchair expert advice here. That mud looks like grease. Don't think it'd matter what tyres you're running.
My thoughts exactly. This mud will clog even tractor tires if you don't have the power to spin the tires
@@pinoywheelgunner 4.7 v8. WILL. Sling those tires.!!!
They could easily get out of there all they need to do is Turn off traction control and put it to the floor clean out the tires
What an adventure!!!!!!

And make sure your pressure in your tires is low for the conditions
Thanks for the tip! Def will keep in mind! We also should've aired down!
@@LLCoolPass that Diff makes a big diff.
Yeah, I noticed the tires stuttering, like they were losing power. Center locking diff helps there.
Respectfuly dis agree..only thing in this. Slick situation is wheel spin!!and. LOTS of it.Skinny pedal could,ve helped.....maybe or a winch.
Carries a gun but has no mag in it…nice
He just wants to LOOK like Delta Force cuz they stayed at a Holoday Inn.
I have those tyres. Very good on the road and dry land, but very poor on slick mud, just like in this video...
Right when I was about to suggest Maxxtrax you whip them out. GX is looking good
Yeah, I have the same tires on my GX. Great on rocks, horrible with mud.
they're not meant to be MT's
Nice rig
So cool, guys! Y’all so outdoorsy (;
Did you drop the tyre pressures?
Who carries an empty pistol?
you want to drive in those conditions get a mud terrain.
I can tell they dont know how to offroad lol
I feel like mud tires wouldn’t have done better. I had km3 s and they acted just like these
At least those mud tires
