This song is actually criticizing the education system in Indonesia which doesn't make students free with their choices. Forced to be smart at many things & have to obey unnecessary rules. They sang this, when they were in Senior High School & they released this song one day before National Education Day 2018. Thank You...

they carry a funky hip metal genre because Marsya: guitar and vocals are hip metal. Siti the drummer has a metal rock genre. and Widi the bassist has a funky flow.
The breakdown section in the middle is the best part but yes I agree that the overall structure is bit long. Maybe I'm too used to The Warning whose songs tend to be quite optimized, they don't waste any time getting into the vocals and rarely linger with any instrumental sections. However, I will say that this was the first known (to me) single from VoB and I'll certainly cut them some slack. Every other original I've heard from them has been well written and catchy.
