Thanks for showing us who appreciate your work how you process your beeswax. It's nice to see how someone else does it. Don't listen to he bad comments below. They don't appreciate a different way of life. I will be processing my wax later this week or next. I enjoy your videos. You're doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
Nasty comments below about "it's a dirty area", seriously people how pathetic are you to be pointing something like that out. I mean not everyone lives in a house with a perfectly kept back yard... I seriously hate comments like that...like thumpers mom said "if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all"... Great video and nice big piece of clean wax at the end :) good job!
Thank you! I bought piece from a beekeeper and he partially cleaned it, so just needed to see how to give it a good final clean. Water in a pot, melt, strain, allow to dry and empty water and clean the bottom. I saw in another video they washed the bottom instead of scraping it... I'll see which works best.
Pretty sure they mean 'filter it'. Not everyone speaks English as their first language. Just appreciate their efforts trying to speak/type in English. They could just upload in their own language, but then you would have nothing to watch. Be(e) nice :)
Ngoc Huynh I see what you did there! lol I’m not hating, except for the shoes, I really didn’t know. And I would’ve watched it, I watch Russian videos a lot, I just turn the volume down lol
They're Cambodian. I watch videos from southeast Asia build furniture with power tools totally barefoot. So the shoes aren't surprising. And I don't think they speak English. They're just sticking stuff in a translator and typing it as best they can. :)
I gave it a thumbs down for a handful of reasons like zero protective wear. I know that sounds silly but so does handling boiling water in sandals without gloves. A few more are things like the final result wasn’t clean there was muck on the outside because you didn’t melt it through and siv it enough times. I love the fact that when you scraped the muck off the bottom of it you were getting it all but personally i wouldn’t be showing new beekeepers this video on what to do
@@redknight65 rubber? Well normally when people cook hair nets/hats are a thing. Aprons. Shoes. Steel toecaps are always a bonus but this isnt just cooking if they drop that or if its not even their fault and the pan just breaks then thats pretty serious burns they will get. When you do wax and honey like that you have a separate pot because once its on its not coming off. Imagine what that would do to bare skin
Not everyone on this planet can afford the things you mention. People use the materials they have and make the best out of it. And these women just did that, and I wish them every success possible in what they are doing.

Right, they are living off the land, opposed to using up the land
People doing an ancient method in the surroundings they have. Probably happy, content, living within their means , existing
That was beautiful & a amazing. Thank you.

Good job on your cleaning of the wax. What do y'all use it for over there? Make lotions, soaps, candles? Very pretty piece of wax.
This was the best video that explained it perfectly
Thankyou from Australia!
Thanks for sharing some technics
What kind of sheet do you use? Is it a special one or just a bed sheet?

Good beeswax .
Cleaning about 20 lbs of beeswax today.

oh
light color = high quality beeswax
Do you add water in the bottom of pan before you add wax
yvonne turner, yes
It would be much easier to scratch your wax if you put and let your wax on the sun .
good idea! thanks

That was a 10 kg right?? Because it seems too big for a 10 lbs block

5 commercial. Way too many. Thumbs down for that.
Dirty place why
Because rural Cambodia.
Were those really the best shoes to be wearing? 🤨 And what does ‘filt it’ mean? Pretty sure that’s not a real word

Ah sorry! Seems like I misunderstood your comment then!

Now you need to clean up your surroundings.

Do you or any of your family members wear rubber gloves, rubber shoes and other protective wear while cooking?

Are you a professional beekeeper? I’ve watched videos from North America and they are not wearing special PPE.
