Crochet this beautiful little dress from 0 to 4yrs Matches the X Cross blanket and hat/bonnet. Part 1 is the blanket, part 2 is the bonnet/hat and this dress is part 3. #crochet #crochetpattern #crochetbabydress
The stitch counts are as follows (FOLLOW THE VIDEO FOR ALL SIZES you will have more stitches for the larger sizes but the pattern is the same)
Foundation chain
IF YOU WANT A PLAIN NECK JUST CROCHET THE CHAIN NUMBER IN THE BRACKETS)
for 3-6 months USE 1 FULL SIZE BIGGER HOOKS BUT KEEP THE STITCH COUNT THE SAME AS 0-3 THIS WILL MAKE A SLIGHTLY BIGGER DRESS
0-3 MONTHS (52 chain) or 26 sets bobbles
for 3-6 months follow 0-3 month but use 1 FULL size bigger hook (this will make in-between size)
6-12 months (54 chain) or 27 sets bobbles
1-2 years (58 chain) or 29 sets of bobbles
3-4 years (62 chain) or 31 sets of bobbles
V STITCH ROW COUNT
0-3 and 3-6 month 26 v stitches
6-12 months 27 v stitches
1-2 years 29 v stitches
3-4 years 31 v stitches
ARM HOLES (you will follow the video for pin placement here are the cluster numbers to skip WATCH THE VIDEO)
0-3 and 3-6 months count 14 clusters place pin in chain space, skip 12 clusters pin together as in video count along 14 clusters place pin in chain space, skip 12 clusters pin together as in video.
LARGER SIZES
6-12 months the numbers are count 15 clusters and pin, skip 12 pin together with 1st pin count past 15 clusters and pin skip 12 clusters and pin together with the 2nd pin as in video.
1-2 years the numbers are count 16 clusters and pin, skip 13 pin together with 1st pin count past 16 clusters and pin skip 13 clusters and pin together with the 2nd pin as in video.
3-4 years the numbers are count 17 clusters and pin, skip 14 pin together with 1st pin count past 17 clusters and pin skip 14 clusters and pin together with the 2nd pin as in video
CHAIN COUND AFTER MAKING ARMHOLES (follow video instructions)
0-3 and 3-6 months 4 chains and crochet 2 sets of double clusters in chain see video for pattern
6-12 months 4 chains and 2 cluster sets
1-2 years 6 chain and 3 clusters sets
3-4 years 8 chain and 4 cluster sets see video
You can make the skirt part of the dress ANY length you want just add extra rounds of the pattern.
