help me guys, i just bought this gem, and mine boots up with ANC turned ON every time, regardless in which state it was when i turned it off. is it a bug or feature? does yours behave the same?

Thanks for the review Aaron, how are the Marshalls compared to the Sennheiser momentum 3, I love the design of the Marshalls but also the Sennheiser, which one is more comfortable out of the Marshall monitor 2 and the Sennheiser? In the UK the Marshall cost £270 and the Sennheiser m3s cost £349, is the price difference justified to buy the Sennheiser over the Marshall? Il be grateful for any advice thanks!
Hi, sooo I have a Big question. I'm about to buy my first high quality headphones, but I'm torn between the Sony WH1000XM4 and the Marshall Monitor 2 ANC. What Is your take on these two, which one Is better in sound? In my local store the Sony are in discount so it's a bit cheaper than the Marshall, but I do like more the Marshall's looks. Now the break point for me Is the sound quality, not so much the ANC, I have been told and found on internet that the sound quality Is better in the Sony's than the Marshall's, but how much?? Cause if it's just by a bit I think I'll go with the marshall because of the durability. (Also I do prefer a Neutral Sound or Soundstage). Thanks in advance for any advice!!
It depends on what you prefer! If you want a crisp and clear headphones, Marshall is the way to go! But if you prefer the bass of the Sony XM4, then get that instead! Marshall Monitor II looks hella nice tho. Not something generic
I prefer the marshall sound, to my ears the sony's are boomy a bit dark and recessed in the mids. The sony's do have a wider soundstage and better noise cancelling though. The marshalls are elevated in the bass and treble while having nice mids and clarity, their build quality is also much better and i prefer the physical buttons. They are a bit overpriced though, i only bought them when they were on sale at $100 less.

I just bought a used Marshall Monitor II ANC on ebay and I was wondering if it is actually real. With the app would a fake one be able to connect to the app? Which it does. It just doesn‘t show the Serial Number in the app, which made me wonder.
Is its sound quality better than monitor bluetooth? I don’t see anyone compare them.
I REALLY want these but comfort is my priority which is why I'm leaning more towards the m3's
Hi! really liked your channel since you had reviews of almost all marshall headphones i think haha hard to find reviews on those. im really considering marshall major III BT, monitor BTs now. I would still like to try them on to see which is more comfortable since i never tried anon-ear before (ive only owned 1 headset the hyperx cloud core). Great review and comparison!
What are your thoughts on using them for PC also, as im looking for headphones i would use for both PC consumption (watching, gaming, etc) and also on my phone when outside. Am i right to assume that if i want to play on a pc with any of these, i would need to use the wire for the least latency?
Lastly, if im not really needing of the ANC, would these headphones still be a better purchase than the newer ANC marshalls? thanks!
is there any stutter or glitches when using the app? the songs starts to stutter and could not understand the song anymore. I am using a samsung phone.

hi there , the Marshall are better in quality sound , however regarding to Anc, Sony is better , and for call quality both are good .

@@evcanada1451 maybe the ANC plays a huge part. It's surreal. The sound quality is very similar, I listen to a lot of rock and heavy metal songs & I don't feel any different between the Sony and Marshall, except that Marshall's vocals are a little clearer but Sony has more body to it.

Nah sorry, once you go for ambient sound the microphone works well and by the way you want to hear how good is the mic on the XM's go to WhatsApp add your self to the contacts list and then send yourself a vocal message and you'll see how clear it is, I dunno why it doesn't work the same on WhatsApp as on Aaron's video
I love Marshall so much but my wallet said: get Sennheiser headphones and a Fender 40 watt digital guitar amp

Those Marshall are the best headphones you can buy in an alternate universe we’re competition doesn’t exist
I just purchased the Skullcandy crusher anc. Fun headphones for sure.
My older marshall monitor bluetooth with 3rd party ear cushion sounds way better than this new monitor anc. This new one has less bass and sometimes even harsh on the highs. Although I can adjust the eq with the marshall app and the eq on spotify to up the bass and lower the treble, the my older one without the anc (with 3rd party earcushions) still sounds better. It’s growling bass is punchier and the mids and highs are much delicious in the ear that it makes me want to do ah headbang while listening to rock and metal.
This new monitor anc on the other hand not so much. I can hear some bass yes but its weaker, I don’t feel it that much. But this new monitor anc is more comfortable on the ear and the anc is useful drowning out talkative people in a cafe.
So when I am working in a cafe I use this monitor anc but when I’m home I use the older monitor bt

This is not the first attempt of Marshall on ANC. The first one was the Mid ANC, which has the advantage of having Aptx support (which is surprisingly lacking on Monitor 2) and being much lighter at 210g vs 320g. I also think the design of Mid ANC is cooler. I just hope Marshall will release soon a Mid ANC 2 version!
And the case of the Marshall Mid ANC looks more premium compared to the case of Marshall Monitor II ANC.

Sbc only isnt good enough, its a terrible sounding bluetooth codec. Even aac is much better.
You can liturly tell no difference between sbc and aac with compressed music that you get on spotify. Only tidal and the original flac file shows a difference. I have headphones with aptx and sbc and aac and i just keep them on aac to reserve battery life and also because the have no latency with aac otherwise sbc. And my speakers also sbc
@@emeraldplayer1128 i disagree. I can hear a difference from sbc to aac, sbc just doesn't have the same clarity. But Aac to aptx doesnt seem to provide much difference in sound from my experience.
@@humanmale1085 Get over it except if you are a producer and you make your own music like i do you want see the slightest differense with compressed files that youtube or spotify provides. Tidal shows a small differense on the high frequency but still. I cant see a diferense between sbc and ldac you are telling me that aac has better clarity😛.

@@humanmale1085 Well then its probably your phone or your headphones there shoud be no difference. Of course the headpjones in the video shoud use aac mainly for low latency but its not a deal breaker personally i have been using sbc on my headphones by accident and didnt even notice until i looked up at the settings.

Marshall Monitor II ANC is over ear. The Marshall Mid ANC is the on ear model.

Dont buy marshall headphones with those knobs. They stopped working on my monitor bt after a year. I used them as rugged as possible because of how it was made nicely but it failed to survive.
