Paint a lot and try to paint as fast as you can. My can control really improved after making 3-5 pieces every week for a couple of years. Another tip is to use fat caps to make outlines because it forces you to paint fast and it will improve your can control. How often do you paint?

No, to me it just doesn't matter and I do what I feel like. But when I want do do a lot of Fading in the background I like to do it before the fill 👍
