As always, when you're a public figure you're going to receive backlash for anything you do but you're always going to have the positive and supportive people who will always be by your side. My bf and I are long distance and we were planning on when we could visit each other again and since shelter in place has been lifted in both our counties and we both have been practicing social distancing and only going out for essentials. We just planned on him coming in 2 weeks for my virtual graduation so I don't have to celebrate alone. Do what you think is best for you and your family. That's all that matters in the end. I get that it seems safe since things are opening again, but it's also important to realize that that doesn't mean everything is actually safe, just that states were tired of paying unemployment and wanted to open the economy again. The pandemic is not over, and I guess the more people who have the mentality that it's safe to travel again then the quicker we will see infection numbers shooting up again. With that said you also clearly are taking things very seriously and have not been going out - if you are still isolating and your family in Texas has been too, then it should not really be an issue. But I think to prevent backlash it's good to clarify that you are taking all those precautions and to note that the people who have been bar hopping and going to pool parties SHOULD NOT be getting on a plane to another state, especially if they do not plan to self isolate for the 2 week period when they get to their destination. Keep doing what you're doing and take all the precautions and it doesn't seem like it's too big of a deal! :)
I completely agree with this opinion! Obviously if everybody started traveling again tomorrow then we would have lots of problems. But similar to this opinion, you HAVE been taking lots of precautions and you have mentioned in videos before about how even though things are opening in Arizona, you’re staying home. You’re not going to Texas to go out with your friends or go out on the town, it’s for your family. For that I think it would be okay!

Quick suggestion for the Alex drawer. You could paint the face of the drawers a different color or use cool textured tape that's monochromatic or even fabrics that are and put 4-5 inch strips on that section of the drawer that's been damaged from top to bottom so the section that you pull to open has a cool but still minimalistic design or texture to it that hides the damage. Using burlap fabric would match your aesthetic really well. Hope you see this and I hope it helps!

Keaton, you should try to see how this would look: put the long mirror on the other corner, where the long cabinet is at and a desk can be some what next to it and then the cabinet thing can be on the left side. i think that would look super cute and less cluttered with the sofa chair, lamp and hanging rack.

At the time her wording and timing of her actions and disregard for others heath is what made me upset and hundreds of others to backlash as well. Cases are already estimated to spike. Give it a few weeks, if you've waited this long I promise you it will be worth it to wait just a few more. Get white/marble contact paper/vinyl and cover the front of the drawers to hide the paint job
to fix your drawers you could always put contact paper on it! It is super easy to apply and you can buy it in prints and in plain colors
