I have the FH3 and Im really enjoying, very smooth sound, bass and treble done right. My only issue was the cable, it is too stiff and tense in the ear hook because of the hard plastic wrap. This tension kept on pulling them out of my ears.
The AQ7 is an Awesome iem and every bit worth the price tag, a very mid centric 'audiophile' tune with sumptuous thumping deap yet refined bass and detail retrieval like I've never heard before in an iem, you'll here things you never heard before as if they were always there. Uses a 4 way crossover which I've never seen sub 1000 bucks and you can really hear it. A BIG upgrade on the T800
@@SuperReview be really interested to see your perspective, you reckon you'll do a full review? Dont know if you already have but the Aq3 has a similar tuning but more accessible price tag to most punters👍
@@SuperReview looking forward to it😊. Very interested to see what you think as of all the chifi reviewers definitely prefer your reviews, made a few happy purchases based on your impressions and seem to share similar tastes, also looks like ur first in here👍
Such a west coaster. A bike ride. Yes you did, didn’t you? .....just come back from a bike ride, damn straight you did. Not just any bike ride either, a west coast bike ride which means an epic bike ride, to anyone east of the Rockies. I’m a little homesick - been traveling abroad for over 3 years now... back to the fiios now..
How you liking those Elegias? I have been on the fence about auditioning them...keep up the good work and thanks for the content. Stay good out there!!
They're Elears. They're pretty solid, nice full sound with solid treble detail without being at all strident -- it's a comfortable, neutralish listen. Top end IMO has a bit of a metallic timbre to it, if I'm being picky.
Amazing review as usual! Need your help please, what you choose between the FIIO FH3 and the Etymotic ER2XR if isolation and sound quality are the most important criteria? (I mainly listen to Jazz, Folk and some modern R&B music)
For isolation, definitely ER2XR. Sound quality is more subjective, depends on preference. FH3 is I think more fun, stronger staging and imaging, while ER2XR is tonally really excellent.
Yeah, TBH I didn't love the DT200. Tonally it seems fine, a bit warm low end with diffuse field midrange. But pretty weak separation in the audio image, maybe the most 2D-sounding IEM I have.
Hey Super* Review!!! Just got the Jolike M5 Music player. I was wondering if you could do a review on it and show me how to put video on it as I still haven't been able to do so yet. It is a budget Music player which only cost £20. Don't know if you'll see this. Thanks anyway!!!
Hope you can help! I NEED small IEM for under a motorcycle helmet Your Rose mini 2 led me to the Rose mini 4 which led me to questionable reviews on build quality and customer service. Can you recommend another brand with great quality and tiny size as an option? Thanks
Thanks for a video! if possible, test them please with Sony nw a-45? I am interested in this model for purchase. I already have a Sony xba -n1ap model, (which are perfect with my nw-a45) and maybe FiiO FH3 won't be a great purchase, but still.
Funny enough, I've been using my A45 recently. Someone on Head-Fi released a custom firmware update that I'm a fan of. Why would FH3 not match with A45?
Super* Review yes, I know, I threw you a link to this mod :) I'm not talking about that, I think they are good. I just have hybrids from Sony - xba-n1ap, and I think that they are somewhere on a par with FiiO fh3. but I'm interested to hear your experience with the nw-a45. Maybe it will be nice upgrade for nw-a45.
Hi, im looking for a portable Amp/Dac for BGVP DM6 can you suggest one under 100$ and can you also tell me which Foam Tip will fit good with DM6 (buying link if possible) thankyou so much
I received my FH3 today, loving it a lot. but there is noticeable driver flex when wearing and removing it and also if I move it a bit or push it while wearing or if I move my mouth or chew. I am a bit worried about this driver flex causing damage to the IEM. Can you put some light on this?
@@SuperReview Thanks for the reply, some are saying they did not experience any flex. That was what made me concerned. I guess I am going to keep it. The sound is nice.
@@SuperReview One more thing though, I do not see any scratch code for checking the authenticity. bought my unit from Penon audio store. But your unit box seems to have that code to check for authenticity. Don't know whats going on.
I just felt not like flagshp iem. Not smimilar meze rai-penta. It's my old frend. :) Later I will listen ac7 demo version at listening shop when corona gone.
Good unboxing. Waiting for the review though. I really appreciate the effort. Top notch! Just a question, between moondrop starfield and fh3, which is the best? Overall rating? Has better bass? Has better overall coverage of instruments? I am looking for more of a "live" sounding which can give a bit of bass. Sorry, not sure if this makes sense. I have thieaudio voyager 3 and ibasso it00. I like the both of them but more linear to it00. I am using also ibasso dc03. Hope you can give me your opinion. Thanks and more power.
Please review the new KZ ZSN Pro X, I want to see if there are improvements to the sound quality compare to its predecessor, I'm planning on upgrading from my ZSN Pro.
Nice! Can't wait for the FH3 review.
Whatchoo listening with now?
@@SuperReview FH7
First Last aye I’m using the FH7’s as well :)
I have the FH3 and Im really enjoying, very smooth sound, bass and treble done right.
My only issue was the cable, it is too stiff and tense in the ear hook because of the hard plastic wrap. This tension kept on pulling them out of my ears.
Yeah, I really like the aesthetics and feel of the cable, but it's not the best-behaved.
I think buying a new cable with the right connector could easily solve this issue
waiting for a detail review of these two !!!!
Mind it, this was a short unboxing of 24 minutes!

Maybe Etymotic. FWIW, I'm too scared to wear IEMs under a helmet.
Much appreciated! Been wearing earbuds under helmet for a decade, love it! Just tired of sore ears!

Ha ha, that was you :D
The FH3 is god tier.
It's surprisingly good.

If on iPhone, the iPhone dongle, if on Android, the Meizu Hifi Pro dongle.

Yeah, mine flexes as well. It has never been an issue for me RE: damage / durability, just an annoying effect.

Could be different packaging for different regions, dunno. I'd be very surprised if anyone is cloning the FH3 a month after it came out.
What's better fiio fh3 or sennheiser ie 40 pro?
In my opinion, FH3 is much better.
How about compare with kinera freya?
I probably won't bring up Freya much again, I didn't like it.
Thank you.
I decide sell freya

R u crazy 24 minutes video without sound evaluation?
I stated as much up front.
I have a QC issue with my Fiio FH3, and i know another 2 with the same problem. DD stop playing.
How long did it take for that to happen? Mine's fine so far.

I think the brush is the type women use for eyebrows and lashes. I know like I know Jimmy Choo shoes.
I will try it out, my eyebrows are getting a bit out of hand.
500 dollar with that cable and that build? what
Yeah 🧐
Is it "Phi-Oh" or "Phee-Oh"? I keep saying "Phee-Oh" and I don't want to offend anyone.
I say the former but either one is totally fine lol
I've heard both. I think "fee-oh" is more common.
I say “fee-oh”

Hey John, here's a link to the review, timestamped to where I compare FH3 and Starfield: ua-cam.com/video/-eB2ho55yJk/v-deo.html

Mellifluous is my favourite word.
It does have a nice rhythm to it.
I miss when you made videos shorter
Is this one short enough?

Coo coo.
do a mic test in reviews
These don't have a mic.
@@SuperReview so how you doing calls with them?? is there a wire got mic in it??
You could buy an aftermarket cable with a microphone if you want. I've never taken a phone call on an IEM.
