  • Carving large, symmetrical charcuterie style boards, platters and wooden bowls is possible with this power carving jig. This video will show you a creative way to 'turn wood' and achieve beautiful symmetry without relying on large equipment such as a lathe.

    A good idea. It would be good to have looked closer at the attachment of the bracket to the tool.
    Should be able to work it out though. Doing something similar today for a Jigsaw to cut circular holes, as I don't have a bandsaw as yet.

    Very creative but can’t help feeling that it takes the human touch (artistry) out of carving. Like doing a project with cng machine.

      Nothing wrong with using a lathe, but you’d be surprised how many folks just don’t have the cash or room for one. Let’s be real - we wouldn’t still be kicking after 35 years if we didn’t push the envelope and come up with something truly game-changing. It's what we do best!!
