I am almost 85 and have never in all of my long life, been so amazed and so moved by a singer so talented. Dimash has the power to conquer any song genre that he wishes to perform in, that is the literal truth and he is in all ways a oerfectionist but here is the strangest thing. He is a perfectionist that people will work with for the sheer pleasure of being a part of something that is quite unique. Dimash has a talent that surpasses all bounds and is absolute in its performance, Dimash is a true Maestro and wonder of wonders, a humble one. 💝
Your heartfelt reaction was very endearing. I cried too when he saw his dad. I heard that he was extremely lonely being in China and not being able to converse or understand anyone without everything being interpreted for him. He went there with just a friend and he was used to always having his family around, so he really missed them. They knew that and that's why his dad went to be with him. You could see how overjoyed he was to see his dad. Such a sweet moment.
I am so glad you did this video. About a year ago, I was surfing youtube,saw the description about not knowing Dad was present. Had no idea who Dimash was. I'm slicing mushrooms when I started the video. At 1st,my thought was:catchy,kinda folk style. Then Dimash did the 1st rail,I froze. I listened/watched the video MULTIPLE times in a row. Completely floored,I called my son to come in here. I had to have him see the video. I immediately looked for more Dimash english subtitles. I haven't stopped. I still tear up at the end of this video regardless of how many times I've seen it.

Thanks for this. I was thinking "i love this performance, and thankfully it doesn't make me cry " ... and then that moment when he spots his father! Interesting note, Dimash is actually 6'3"! I think for some reason, many of us perceive him as being quite slight and of modest height. There are of course many more performances from the show, the Singer, but the next performance that i remember really being amazed again i think was "olimpico".... and then more recently "Stranger" was another fantastic performance. Keep them coming :)

There are of course many more performances from the show, the Singer, but the next performance that i remember really being amazed again i think was "olimpico".... and then more recently "Stranger" was another fantastic performance. Keep them coming :)

The Dimash music arrangement and vocal abilities were sooooo much better than Vitas' version, the composer of the song sued Dimash so that he would never sing it again. His fathers visit was wonderful... Dimash hadn't been away from his home for so long a time before. When he did SOS, he had jet lag and a slight cold.

The song is about a guy who built a house and now lives all alone and sad in it ...listening to the howling of the wind outside ...
This song belongs to the Ukrainian- Russian vocal clown Vitas. However, they forgot to ask Vitas. The people who hold the rights sued Chinese TV... unfortunately too late. The Chinese had already put it online and so it is on the Internet forever.
Vitas (Vitaly Vladasovich Grachev, *1979 Latvian SSR is a Ukrainian- Russian pop singer who mainly sings in Russian. He is also a composer, actor and fashion designer. He claimed that by the age of 12 he had composed at least 1,000 songs.🤣
