Hi Guy's What an amazing part of the world you have reached, truly the the top of the world. When you look at the road conditions, and look at all the development that there is, you have to wonder how they actually got all those materials up there, and the price the locals would have to pay for all that extra freight cost. Great footage as always, and amazing courage driving on those road in 2 wheel drive.
Hi Todd, great show as always. The information is orally handed down through the generations. The Indigenous Aboriginal people of Australia, did this for over 60,000 years, wrap your mind around that!. Keep up the good work mate, 😋🖐👍.
Awesome trip up Northern Laos, Todd and Neenee. Amazing video series, beautiful scenery and every town/village you guys go people look very happy and friendly.
I think this is one of your best travels; so far, The scenery the interaction of you and the people/animals' just nice. Scenery is stunning camera positioning great and the green whiskey. Hope to visit Laos again.
What an adventure! Beautiful viewing Todd and Neenee, thank you for it. Touching tribute to your Nan at the tea farm. Loved the black and white stills, as always, and clever going into the colour at the end. Quality 👌
Hey brother,,, spectacular,,stupendous,,amazing! Great vid bro! The Stones,,,one of my all time top 5 favs. Best use of this song in a movie,,The Big Chill from 1983. Friends gathered for one of their friends funerals,,and one of the women sat at an organ and played the opening notes of this song. Was perfect. The country you went thru was amazing,,kind ,friendly people. The tea trees were cool,,the green whiskey process was amazing. I was struck again by your knowledge of plants. Maybe you and my Dad can start a garden and plant store,,call it "The Old Man and The Aussie,,,,Bush masters "lol interesting building style up there. Cool place. Thanks Todd Ttyl,,,Marlon
Gday mate - still catching up sorry - again I can tell this place is special in your voice - things are still raw here I’ve also been fascinated with Tea , I don’t drink coffee and been to quite a few plantations in China . Seems very vibrant and great people - luv the jungle roads - small 🐕 - whiskey 🥃- cheers Todd 👌👍👋🙏
Hey Todd, I'm surprised you were still standing after having a swig of that green whiskey. The diverse landscape of Phongsali is truly amazing. Be Safe and Stay Healthy on those roads. Sending you Best wishes and Happy Travels ! Jim and Harriet. 🙏❤🙏 Richmond, Va.
Super interesting video… especially the green whiskey village and factory. Loved your series in Phongsali. What a unique and fascinating Lao town. Love the history. We’re watching you from the U.S.!!
Todd, you don't pretend, Ha, you eat Alby mangles for breakfast Cmon, Green Corn Whiskey, you like it yeah. Well done to the both of you for your honesty and generosity to the Laos people. 😂🤗.
LOL "There's no roadside assistance.." Umm good, because up there, there's no roadside. I would so love to just go there and explore for a year to take it all in - absolutely beautiful country side, gorgeous views friendly people -
Haha pissa todd you woz half pissed on the 🌽 whiskey, watch out for the coppers on the way back d.u.i 😂, aww great video mate, nee nee too , very interesting, friendly lovely people, safe travels lovely people 👌👍🌽🌹❤

60% would be 120 proof - somewhere between Wild Turkey 101 and Bacardi 151. Very different method of fermentation and distilling. Very interesting. Thanks Todd
@@NowinLao yes sir Life got in the way so I try to take part of a Sunday to catch up with everyone If u think I’m way behind here I am even worse with for Riel
I would love to try the pure whiskey that you nag Nini drank. The green whiskey color that is made from the bitter melon leaves that you and Nine saw while the man chopped from the hands. All the pure whiskey is good for cooking with squirrel meats, goat meats, sheep meats and lemur meats. But my recommendation to you that don't drink that strong alcohol while you're operating a machine because the road condition is looking bad shapes.
What was the elevation of that tea plantation? I live at 4200 feet, but would probably be puffing and wheezing up that hill too. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but There are some beautiful women in Laos, like the girl you asked for directions. I need to go there, get a couple bottles of the green liquor for my brothers-in-law back in Da Nang. Keep making the great content!
I struck up a conversation with a thai lady in a coffee shop in Newcastle , spoke of youtube and that I planned to go to Laos this Christmas, she said watch Now In Lao, I said I did, she said that you Todd are from Cessnock. You crack me up with the Aussieisims, I wonder what the British or Americans think about that 5555
@21:55 I was saying “Todd, you’re muted” but then realized you haven’t been living the world of online meetings for 3 years. 😂 @34:20 Neenee looks pretty tuned up after that green whiskey!
Thanks for showing us this amazing country..As for that green moonshine what is the normal use or frequency of use is it just available after harvest or do they pour it on their cornflakes everyday is it only a party or festive thing etc. Anyway cheers I hope to be getting some Lao dirt on my shoes within the next year.Keep up the amazing work kudos for the nice editing and those B&W stills which absolutely rock
Great video once again! We are actually in Laos at the moment. We are fairly new in the vlog world and have just started our own travel channel if anybody here is able to take a look, any support is appreciated. Great video again and thank you 🙂
dude don't knock it until you've tried it on my first visit to south east Asia I came across a construction crew out in the jungle. being a farm boy I jumped in boots and all to give them a hand. at the end of the day it was time for refreshments. they drank the same rocket fuel that they ran there tractors on , it's something I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

Every aussie needs to do some Leyland Brothers shit in their lifetime. Todd, I like how you are bringing our culture to Laos...
F...cked it up with my 4 wheel drive ask the Leyland Brothers ?
When we come by I think I'll pass on that stuff. Have had to drink enough bad stuff in Lao to last a life time.
Are you sure mate.. I got plenty left 😝
@@NowinLao Thanks a lot. Will tip a cold Beer Lao White. A nice refreshing taste.
That's not a sip, I'm not gonna skull that,555 bullsht he won't

YOU JUST DRINK PURE MOON SHINE
No. I just drank pure Green Moon shine 😝
Aussie reckon they are tough ?
Look at these people and they don't have the help of modern industrial equipment and tools in that heat .
Talking tax, here in Australia they are going to give the rich a tax break. Poor buggers are battling!
😡👎
Christ Todd you wouldn't want to get too pissed in whiskey village then navigate those roads eh Mate?
Man that green is lethal shit! Definitely not a track to navigate after a few 😟
If you was born in laos but move to U.S when u was 6mo old... Are you still a laos citizen? Thinking of moving to Laos. Getting tired of the U.S
Do you have a US passport?
Why don’t you
Come on light weight, you're going to give Aussies a bad name
