Rick; I enjoy your comments. I am mostly a "good enough" type of model railroader. I realize that working in a garage in the summer can be challenging. My layout is in my basement and as a retiree myself, we go to warmer climates in the winter, so most of my videos and layout work is done from the late spring to late fall. By the way, I believe you mentioned it in one of your videos what you used for the razor wire on your fencing, but I can't find it. Would you please let me know what you use?
Funny your video was first out! Got a load out of Dallas coming to California....I do declare a stop at one of many favorites ARNIEs! Hoping the new batch of SD45T-2s are in... awesome video
@@socalscalemodels Hey Rick I don't know if you get the ClassOne Modelworks e-flyers but today (Labor Day monday) they released some new loads that might be perfect for one of your customers (wink) as both loads in AND details. Check them out. cheers.
I try to finish a scene before moving on to the next. I'll at least get it to the point where there's only minimal left to do, so going back to it won't require a whole lot of time to complete it.
Hi and good Friday to you 😊 it is 87 here in Utah. Well I am working on my HO MRL/ Layout. It is DCC/ Digitrax 18 x15 in the garage. It's from 1987 throw 2023 from Neil schwerdt in west valley city Utah 😊
Now, look at Torres in his truck over at WestPak. I wonder what he's up to? Speaking of WestPak, I sure hope they get a different industry rep than that functioning alcoholic, Carl. Thanks for another great video, Rick.
Good enough for me but I will spend more time trying to get track work as bulletproof as possible. Nothing can ruin a running layout like bad track work
Good stuff Rick!! Happy modeling!! - Jason
Thanks 👍

Me? I see that empty yard as a nice time to clean all those yard tracks! And a five car train, a perfect sized local. Woot!
I know, right?

Thanks for another great video, Rick.
Be careful Rick, losing your train of thought while operating HO trains could lead to disaster!
A empty yard is a busy railroad

On my layout I like to go task by task. Even though that task may have sub tasks that spread the effort out.

You sound just like Alan Alda.
