When he said my life is back there in that hole, made me tear so much...what true love that is.

I was born in 1972. Sanford and Son is one of the best shows I've ever seen. May your Mother and Father Rest In Peace, Grady. Health and happiness to you and your loved ones, sir...💯

What a well-rounded, talented and soulful individual he is - I've loved him since I was a kid watching him and Redd Foxx on Friday nights with my dad....I almost lost my dad to Vietnam, and I'm grateful that I had him till' I was 27 y/o. Thank you Mr. Wilson for serving our country through that war, and for making me laugh while I was growing up. I wish I could have seen the rest of this interview - for some reason, clip 3 wasn't included :(( God Bless You

This is a great man who has brought so much good to the world. He has helped prisoners, started a ministry, raised money for so many causes, not to mention that he is a television LEGEND- who cares if he has gained a few pounds?

This is one of the best shows. If ONLY I had known my grandma LOVED this show I would’ve watched it with her! I had no idea she loved this show. Before she died she gave me her Redd Fox album saying go listen to this.its a riot.a little dirty but funny as can be.She was right! 👍 isn’t amazing how so many shows came from an English show?Mom told me my grandma probably loved Aunt Esther bc she quoted the bible 😍😍

Where is the rest of it??
This was very touching, very revealing. I am glad he was able to overcome the deeply rooted anger that was affecting his life. He truly seems at peace now. God bless him :)

@Geezyone Anyone who can admit they had a serious problem with anger, how they were affected by serving in Vietnam, and can overcome all of that is pretty "great" to me.

I'm so glad the show execs chose " The Porcelain" episode, it's my favorite out of all the shows! In that episode Demond really showcased his acting abilities, I mean BRILLIANT ❗* Remember Demond was playing a role, he was Lamont Sanford and Lamont Sanford wasn't always respectful to his dad Fred on the show.

Lamont, Dad center his life on his mother. When Lamont Dad told him that his life was in that hole,he means his heart and soul is in that hole, his one rib and flesh as ONE is in that hole,His happiness and old memories is in that hole..His life ended in that hole. Loneliness entered his soul and one year later Lamont Dad died.

I have always thought Demond Wilson was handsome, kinda favors my Dad. With that being said, now that I know he is a follower of Yahshuah/ Christ I have an even more reason to admire and love this brother 💜🖤💜 ps. I hope the Most High lead him to know who His REAL CHOSEN are ....and that's the so called Negroes, who Father Yah Himself said He would scatter to the four corners of the earth, Yelp we the people ❗

@Geezyone He is great in the sense that he had fame, and you know how we love our famous folk. They can be as screwed up as they can be, as long as they have fame,,,thats the only criteria needed for :greatness:...can anybody say Steve Harvey??? talk about a nut job.

This man, known primarily for his role in 'Sanford & Son,' has led a life marked by narrow-mindedness and obstinacy. His career, largely defined by this single achievement, failed to evolve, leading him to a life of criticism towards others and encountering numerous setbacks. His inability to accomplish anything else noteworthy has resulted in a modest and unremarkable lifestyle. This seems to be a fitting outcome of his actions and attitudes.
