Thank you. We need to have more respect for our Cherokee people. It really annoys me when i see people making fun of Cherokee tribe. A white man tried to tell me Cherokee was made up and I didnt argue but know in my mind I knew he was wrong.

@@QuitinaOnawa Cherokees weren't made up at all. They were in the eastern part of the U.S. I've been doing a lot of research into my cherokee heritage, my dads side of the family does have cherokee ancestry on that side. My great grandma's great grandma, was said to still speak the cherokee language, as well. My great grandpa's side was said to be Native American, as well, but I'm not sure what tribe because his family was so scattered that it's hard to determine what tribe they were, I'll be looking into it though of course. The cherokee aren't made up all, I think a lot of people think that because cherokees did mix with a lot of europeans at that time. With that being said though, it was a very different time period. You have to take into account that they mixed possibly because it was easier for them to live that way...which I think is horrible Native Americans, should be allowed to have their culture, their language and their way of life.

The "uncontaminated" makes sense to me, I remember in grade school as a second or third grader having to go to the principal's office where he showed me a file folder over an inch thick, it was my file, my record and scolded me for something I can't remember. I was a kid who didn't know who these people were, but apparently I wasn't interested in what they were teaching me. Now I know that I was resisting being contaminated. Long live the true people who ever you are.

I'm half Navajo, and half white. Born in Gallup New Mexico, a town with one of the highest population of Navajo people. But there are a lot of white man schools there. I remember teachers would get mad at me and my friends for speaking our language. They would get mad if we acted, as they said like we came from the rez. But many of us didn't listen, we still spoke our language and acted like ourselves. Oftentimes getting in fights with the white kids, because they said or done something that was racist towards us. Many of us got suspended from school, for standing up for ourselves. While the white kids who started the trouble to begin with. Got to stay in school. All the different ways they tried to ween out our culture. All they accomplished was turning us all into rebels. Against their ways, so instead of choking out the Navajo culture from us kids. They only strengthen our resolve to stay true to who we are. Since then I've had a great dislike for the United States government. Why should I stay loyal to a government that nearly caused the extinction of one race, and enslaved another. That same government now enslaves its own people. Laying down laws, that by their own constitution is illegal. Even the family on my dad's side tried to in their words "tame me". To this day I remain free, and with a mind of my own, or untamed in my dad's family's words. My dad didn't try to tame me. No he was interested in my mother's way of life. The point I'm trying to make, is the US government will never tame Native Americans. The government will never tame me, I rather die a free man, than live as a mindless puppet in the white man's world.

That is what Russel Means did, he always took the opportunity to tell the story of the injustices committed against his people. Go well. KARIEM. South Africa.

James Roper...I have noticed that when we speak of what the white man did and continues to do, there's always a white or two who always start telling us that when we came to Turtle Island we killed those who were here...and they don't have a clue that the damn history they are trying to repeat isn't even accurate. Like if they point out some story of what they were told we did...that didn't happen, then it somehow excuses their behavior. I try to tell them, what happened to us they are doing to you now. Truth is most whites don't want to acknowledge any responsibility for what's still going on to this day. Well when the shit hits the fan and they don't have their Starbucks and Fast food to rely on...they can just not come crying to us to help them hunt or find food. Since they are so smart they can fend for themselves.

James Roper Hello friend, I'm not white or native Indian which i would have been honored to be. But I'm a warrior from a different land and I completely understand what you're talking about having lived in USA for a long time. It seems that ignorance and arrogance is embedded in the genes of the European man here. They lie and cheat and have no honor and they worship money. They can survive like this but can't exist as long as the native Indians have, the Roman Empire is a good example.

Addiction was a big thing in the family but her mom had the biggest heart and she did too. I miss her everyday but we went our separate ways for reasons.. Something about Native American people that they seem to be easily susceptible to addiction but when they're sober they are one of the most kind and Ioving people you'll ever meet. It's hard to explain but it's like they're the people of the earth. I learned so much being in that relationship.

We cant ever imagine what comes when we go to the other side .All we have witnessed in love for our fellow man here on earth is expanded beyond measure But all we acted out in selfishness, we will be made aware of and if we dont accept our wrongdoings to the point of feeling the pain we have inflicted on others .Only then can we be free to be loved and fulfilled in the awe of Gods kingdom .As C.S.Lewis once wrote ".Quote" There only two types of people .There's the one who will bend a Knee and say YOUR WILL BE DONE MY LORD. Then there's the one who will not ,and for that GOD will say YOUR WILL BE DONE .and that is how simple it is . We are all guilty of not Loving and only through prayer and meditation will we in our hearts know TRUTH.

I am from the UK, Liverpool and of course speak English. I have never liked this language, I had a dream not so long ago where I received the massage that I was in a state of neuro linguistic shock, I have looked in to this and never found anything but I know through my intuition it's connected to the I congruence of the English language to what I feel is a live in my blood which is Celt/Gael. I am fair skin Caucasian and I see white man as the same, I can't stand the English I feel like we are from another planet..
