go to usps.com and make your own shipping label. fill out all the info, pay for it, & print it. or go to the post office & theyll take care of it with you.
The R.W Channel not really because mercari takes 10% off and the seller probably spent$1 on the pack of stickers so the seller only makes about $1.50

So I don’t know ! But what she just did here it is not allowed!! I did that, used a priority box with first class label and they did not take my package and told me to use another box. I was so upset!

I used those clear poly bags if your package is left on the dock or someone smoking or the smells travels into your box and your customers opens up smell smoke/ see pays to protect your item, even put in large or med trash bag

My phone tells me I have a sale on Mercari and to print a shipping label and I need to sign in. It will not recogize my Google sign in. I cannot print from my phone anyway. I go to my laptop. My Mercari account on my laptop does not show a sale no matter where I look. I cannot fulfill the sale. I don't want to waste any more time on Mercari since this is the 2nd time I have not been able to find support, so how do I cancel the sale and delete my 20 listings and close my Mercari account?

I thought we couldn't use flat rate boxes with the prepaid labels. I was under the impression they had to be priority boxes only?
Chad Engel No they can be Priority or a box you already have that isn’t branded to the post office.
I know this is old but just for the record "according to the rules" you can't use any priority shipping boxes for any lightweight first class mail and you can't use priority mail flat rate or regional rate boxes even with mercari's priority mail labels because they're made under commercial plus pricing, which does not include anything other than standard priority mail boxes. You can't use priority mail EXPRESS boxes for anything ever. You may get away with priority labels on flat rate boxes or first classes labels on priority boxes a few times but you're not actually supposed to use them and may end up landing your buyer having to pay postage due in order to get their package. If USPS tries to take the postage due from mercari instead of from the buyer they reserve the right to deduct the cost from your balance or any future sales until they're paid back for you having used the wrong box. I'm no stickler for the rules but I figured I would put this out there so anyone reading it in the future will know what's technically supposed to be done. Ending up owing postage can really cut into, and kill, your profits so I don't play with it myself but to each his own :)

How do you make the shipping label?
Channel CY You don’t have to make it Mercari will automatically generate a shipping label with all the information on it! All you do is decide who pays for it, either you or the buyer!
Careful on using those free supplies from USPS.
This is written on Priority Mail Boxes/Envelopes:
"This packaging is the property of the united states postal service and is provided solely for use in sending priority Mail shipments. Misuse may be a violation of federal law. This packaging is not for resale."

I'm saying becareful because you're only supposed to use flat rate priority boxes/envelopes with flat rate priority mail labels and most people that uses mercari either get First class labels or priority mail labels that are not flat rate.

Never had problems using the priority mail flat rate boxes with mercari items- nor with poshmark. Yes you can if you have a label. I pay for the shipping on all of my items, so i get a mercari label and just tape it to the package and stick it in my mailbox. The mail carrier picks the package(s) up and scans .

Reservation Dept Yes only if your shipping label is a Smart post label. Then it is associated with the post office and fedex so the free shipping boxes are allowed.

I work at a service center that ships, and usps can actually be kind of a jerk about having a fedex label on a usps box. A small flat rate rate box needs $7.25 worth of postage, a medium flat rate $13.65 and a large $18.90. I'd be careful using their boxes for sure.

Yes you can! You can use your own boxes for all the shipping services. However you MUST use your own boxes for USPS First Class shipping and services such as FedEx and UPS. The optional free USPS are to be used with Priority Mail ONLY. You don’t have to use USPS boxes for Priority Mail but you can only for Priority Mail. USPS will not except your packages if you fail to comply or even worse they can fine you for misuse of government provided supples. So please don’t use free USPS boxes for the wrong application like using them with FedEx or UPS and Etc.

They give you a prepaid label whether you or the buyer pays. Only time you do not get a label send to you is if you choose to ship your own.
