I appreciate the closeups so much! For starters, you already film close enough to actually see your face but then you come in even closer so we can see how the product is working. I also appreciate the longer test times. I typically do my makeup at 630am and don’t get home until 7pm - I need it to look good the whole time!

I’d really love to know how different Juvia’s Place palettes hold up on you throughout the day, as some are formulated with glycerin and mineral oil. Faded right off my oily eyelids!
I so happy to finally see a positive review of this foundation, I have very dry skin and I’m absolutely in love with this fountain! I do have to use a beauty blender to apply, for some reason using a brush makes it look horrible on me but using a beauty blender makes it look airbrushed and flawless.

I’ve read a lot of bad reviews on this foundation. On my normal skin, it worked ok. I put it on over sunscreen, I don’t use primer. It was a little difficult to apply, I didn’t find it to be lightweight at all - for a liquid, the formula is “stiff” and took some time to blend. I used a sponge, though, and the company does recommend a brush. And, one has to take into consideration my sunscreen formula, which is slightly balm like. Immediately after applying the foundation, it looked masky, and I only used a small amount - but after it dried down, it looked good. After 8 hours, it still looked good. No creasing, no settling into lines. The coverage is extreme, I mean, I barely needed concealer on a few dark sunspots I have. I think this foundation would be perfect on oily to combo skin types. Dry skin, no, I don’t think it would be a good choice. I also think mixing it with some moisturizer or maybe a liquid glow product would make it easier to apply. Maybe next time I use it, I’ll try a damper sponge. But if you are looking for truly good coverage, and long lasting wear, this would be good. It would be nice if they had included an SPF.

This looks beautiful, but I really don't think Hourglass understands how undertones work. Warm undertones? "Yellow! Make more yellow foundation!" Peachy undertones? "Orange! We need orange!" Neutral undertones: "Green? Can we make green foundation? Let's just make more yellow." Cool undertones: "Magenta! We need some magenta foundation here!"

I totally agree...I can't find a match to save my life but I love the coverage so damn much I keep trying. Their store is just not convenient to me at all...I buy sample after sample and honestly they really seem to look alike on my arm...yellow...and I need a little yellow as it really helps the skin tone of us older ladies but....
@@dcdawn I do love their coverage and longevity, so I'll be trying again soon. Tip: don't use your arm to color match your foundation. Next time you visit the store, use your neck. It'll help you see how it matches up to your face overall, plus when you apply you want your face and neck all to match to make your look more blended/cohesive

I'm thinking this is a great foundation for oily girls when used properly. You've definitely proven that. I plan to get a sample and wait for the Sephora sale to save some coins. I truly hope the shade range will expand.

I love this foundation! It sits on my face like a second skin and I’m loving not wearing a primer as I think they clog up my skin. As the product warms up it seems to melt in and blend itself even more - it has the most beautiful finish! I do still seem oily come the evening but it’s just so flawless I don’t care. I use a sponge to apply it but have never ever managed to make half a pump stretch to cover my entire face!
So pleased for you with this foundation, looks amazing, if I had just had a 14 hour day no makeup in the world would help me look as bright as you . Take care everyone 😉
This is so interesting! Cause other people with slightly drier skin almost all hate this foundation. I have combo oily skin (an EXTREMELY oily t zone), but my cheeks are dry. Also, all reviews tend to claim that the longevity of this product is not that good, or at least thar it turns cakey after a long time wear... Considering all these, it’s a pass for me...

YES 😍 this looked bomb on you sis ! You looked glowy all day, but not greasy... Some magic in there. I have such oily skin and I love the Nars sheer glow, per your recommendation too! It's so glowy 😭😍

I ♥️this foundation !! I did use a very dense brush applying but it’s even better when I used the Bobbi brown face base and the cover fix gripped primer with a sponge .

I am a bridesmaid at my mom's wedding in a few months and I have to get a new foundation and powder with no to minimal flashback. You are my top favorite makeup artist and whatever products I've bought that you recommended have never failed me!
I find foundations and powders without SPF in them usually give minimal flashback. I also test a couple of foundations on the back of my hand and take a flash photo before I purchase a any new foundation/powder to see if they give any flashback. I hope this helps ( not a makeup expert) xo
I have been really curious about this. I have never tried any of the Hourglass foundations - but I can imagine that most of them are amazing. I have been struggling through the Huda one. Face Atelier also makes foundations that are meant to be used without a primer, if you're interested in finding more of these types of foundation.
