The thing is, they had practiced for months, and only got a stage debut because someone else backed out. Thank god for that! But they are so good, even then. JK is 15, Jin 21. The stage one is longer. I just love these guys, from beginning to end. BTS wrote in trilogies (maybe not purposely at first) and since they were allowed to write from their hearts, the trilogies grew up with them. School, Youth, Love Yourself, Map of the Soul, then we have the pandemic, and Chapter 2 (solos). I can hardly wait to see what comes next.
The way Noël interpret the things sometimes it sounds like a watching a motivational video. Even though I don't know him but from seeing through the videos it looks like he's kind of person who values & understands the someone's emotions or feelings, who can give you comfort by his words or who is ready to give you a peace of advice whenever you need. He really has good interpersonal skills.
At 12.17 I thought my network is gone🙄 Good editing Bo😐 And Noël is really great at freezing. Bo that see me see me ya was so cute. For a few years they were really on a low budget, therefore they had to use their staff to appear in their videos and also their cars. On one video there is the guys in a black Audi. Which was Jin's car (his family is well off)...

These are official videos, so they will count towards their views as there's an agreement with BigHit for those and likely why these videos were never captioned in the main channel. It's generally better to go in order to see their growth and development. They’re saying that if one has a dream, it should be their own dream, not some future that their parents forced on them.
Basically the song lyrics say that parents always tell children to “follow their dreams,” and then they tell their children to study and work desk jobs.(When it's not even their dream of a lot of kids) Youth are afraid to drop out of school to become artists or chefs or whatever because their parents and society have always forced the idea that the best future is just to study hard, go to college, and get a reasonable job that pays nicely.
BTS is trying to convey the message that its okay not to have one, for sure. Or more accurately, that you should be able to do what you please and have whatever dream you want (whether that’s nothing, small, or big, the point of the song is it should be YOURS). It’s sort of meant to be a comfort/ranting type of song at the same time. If you notice, you can hear Namjoon say in a lower voice at the end, “To all the youngsters without dreams, ha ha” and if you read the lyrics, you’ll see that that’s what it’s all about, criticizing society (in this case, specifically Korean society, but it can apply to others as well).
Throughout the entire song, they’re desperately asking to be freed from society’s pressure and to be able to live in their own way, not constantly questioned by parents, teachers, and people in general. Lines like “Adults and parents cram us with dreams stuck in place” and “Become the subject of your own life that’s always been suppressed” show this very clearly. So, this song is trying to assure us that it’s okay no matter what your goals are
