How did I grow up listening to Rush, Megadeth, and Slayer and not get into this guy’s music? I love instrumentals, shredding, and metal. Better late than never I suppose!
Maybe Because the singer for racer x sings in the cliche hair metal/ bad dio impression. And I love hair metal but the dude sings with no feeling like someone doing an impression of an impression. Might be this solo though it has so much feeling it like a gravity well that pulls the weight from everything around it.
Great riff at 3:23. He can really play most anything. He's just one of those players that practices all styles. Very technical with great note selection

My favourite guitarist of the 90s? well no but the one thing i admire about Paul is he plays better live than any of them!!! Vai can't play passion and warfare live like the album, Joe can't play flying in a blue dream live like the album but Paul does🤯 He's a freak😱
I dont know why he never play the solo in the middle of the song just like the CD version, I love the CD version and made me upset that he always seems to improvise the solo, still sound amazing but i prefer the cd version.
To each his or her own, of course... but I disagree about this being "The Best" version!
