What company uses volunteers as their spokesmen in the western world? With that kind of low effort it feels the game will be horrible here. Don't they understand how this makes the game look? When it's reputation is already horrendous
Tbh, their main market is China hence the lack of funding trying to market to the other countries

As I mentioned above - without really understanding the structure - I don´t think that Tencent has any idea that all of this happened. @junkie9411 pointed out that Level Infinite Pass is their subsidiary, they might now what is going on, at least I had the impression that in above video the mod was a bit nervous about their reaction. Not getting any official statement by now makes the whole situation look even worse. It´s like they either choose to ignore it, don´t know about it or don´t care. If any of this is true then it´s not a good sign how the community is treated after release.
many games have volenteer mods but they arent the voices of the company they just sweep the chat and often go unaknowleged, its not normal to have volenteer mods making any statements other than providing help to players with issues and dealing with report tickets of problems in the discord. Even most employees at companies DO NOT SPEAK for the company unless they are a C suite executive or report directly to the CEO. A company as large as tencent should know better and its sad that they dont.

I feel like he should not have brought that mod on for so long as He isn't one of the main persons involved and couldn't talk about most of the events
in whole he couldnt talk, its just bla bla bla and from all the stutter u can feel hes a lyer in real life. (People who stutter for other reasonst just give a very different vibe.)
This video is gold. Tarisland doesn't even understand how much damage to the game reputation (at least here in the West) that mod did by joining this stream. Not only that the guy literally could not defend himself because all the proofs where against him, but Asmon was awesome to "interrogate" him and put him in the corner and admit his fault. That mod made a huge mistake to join this stream. He embarrassed himself and the game and made the game loose trust in players.
After i saw the video i wrote in discord: " Nerdola, it was fun to watch you embarrass yourself for 30 min" ...he muted me for 7 days.
After i dm-ed him and told him he should be ashamed for what he did and now i got perma banned on Taris channel.
That Nerdola is a embarrassment for the Tarisland community. Such a toxic power abuser should not be allowed to be mod.
Should dm him again and tell him he is a big reason people don't play that game anymore lol.

Asmon is really good when it comes to law and order, nice to hear that he reached out to you to help you in all this.
When it comes to the discord moderator, he really doesnt have any power within the sponsor or partnership that you have with the company, since he isnt part of or a employee of the company. He can be hold accounted for trying to inform people to report your video as a personal attack against you thought, which probably could hold in a lawsuit and in his worst case, the company could sue him for damaging their reputation (pretty much like me saying im calling from microsoft but scamming you on the phone). Jeya and Laure on the other hand is employees and could be hold accounted for acting outside of their working role within the company/companies, if they scam, treat or handle fans, customers or business partners wrong, they could get fired or in some countries even sued for disloyalty (its all about the proof then).

The definition of autoplay depends on the game. I think 1 click per action is standard play and multiple actions per click is still partially auto no matter how the developer defines it.
I mean you have to keep pressing button a few times anyway

Being a hungry ass mmo player, i will definitely play this game for funsies but man.... I dont understand why devs cant just make a game and do what they say AND stay in their lane, dont say a bunch of wild shit you never plan on going through with. That will never push the game forward. Much love to asmond and you spid for standing up and speaking out.
Discord is banned in China. Since the first moments in the Discord I had the impression that the Mods where not Chinese and maybe not even employed but more like Freelancers or Volunteers. The Dev team most likely might not even now about that drama, because they focus on promoting the Game in Mainland China. The 100 k registered Discord Members seems to be only a fracture of people which will play the game with the majority being from China. That´s what my friend told me who works in Hong Kong and travels to Mainland frequently. The game is advertised way different and on a bigger scale then outside China. No matter what Spid might have done wrong or not, the unprofessional way the Mod Team handled it and the fact that these mods seem to stand between the community and the Devs casts a bad shadow on the future communication between players and devs. On the other hand - as I have learned first hand from other chinese games - a non-chinese Volunteer, even employee can be struck by sudden decisions from the firm without being informed or warned. Up to "we pull the game from the market and keep it chinese only, btw, you are fired"
LEVEL INFINITE PASS is a subsidiary of tencent based in Singapore. They publish Tencent games in international markets

all developers use proxy in CN, they have access to all western websites and apps, including Discord, this excuse of "not having access" is not valid.

Spid I have watched many of your videos, and have inspired my mobile/ mmo gaming adventures, and Asmon I always look forward to impressions and reviews on new and upcoming games, I usually try all them out myself and get a feel for them, but you do a great job man as always!

Everything that mod said was a load of crap. Going back and forth. No conviction to anything he was saying. Sounds like maybe someone told him to report the video. He's ok with your video and channel being taken down over "misinformation" but his posts in Discord that are "misinformation" are ok and there should be no reproductions. Rules for thee, not for me.

In addition to my other statement. A lot of players try to become moderators to get favoritism and or in game knowledge to gain leverage for themselves and their guild. This is a well-known issue upon a lot of games that are cross-platform and international because there is so much competition. So moderators will in fact shut down competition that threatens their best interest.
And in return these moderators that work for free in exchange can also be influenced by the game admins to push their own political agendas. And in this case this is what I believe spid experienced. He was getting attacked by the game itself and an alliance that has a moderator that is looking for leverage.
When players are able to get favoritism and leverage in game it's not a good thing especially if that player also becomes a whale.
The problem here evolves around one thing. Different cultures different people with different opinions based on how they were raised playing a game that's cross-platform with no dedicated regional servers that has management managing other sections of the world. This is why games need to be separated and segregated. I don't know why gaming companies are forcing players from different regions to collaborate together. It's not necessary it's not the way it should be.

I would suggest you be careful with these mods, developers and whatever surrounds this game. A fellow twitch streamer got mass reported by them and got banned on twitch because they weren’t happy with his content and how he phrased some titles for the streams.
Kudos to youtube for not investigating the situation and just block the video..😮💨🤦🏼♂️. We need a more decentralised platform ..

Yeah I call bs on this. The bot mutes you 1 hour after that Discord message you posted and then removes you 1 day after. Why not show all the messages leading up to the mute and removal.
Discord bots don't just mute you 1 hour and 1 day after for no reason.

We are all human, and it’s impossible for us not to make mistakes, whether we are a streamer or a moderator. What I find embarrassing is the change of direction by a global leading company like Tencent, which surely doesn’t need to make money with P2W games unless it fears a flop. Riot Games teaches us that it’s possible to make F2P games without the P2W element. Anyway I believe this topic (the drama) has reached its limit. I enjoyed the videos until a few weeks ago, but watching complaint videos is not pleasant, especially after a 10-hour workday. I hope to see new gameplay videos about Tarisland, and who knows, maybe we’ll meet in the game.
Like you, Spid, I hope this game will be successful. I can’t find an MMORPG that deserves to be played, I’ve lost motivation and attraction for any game on the market. I doubt Tarisland will be the game that will change the course of history, but at the same time, I hope it’s a good compromise to start a new adventure and stir up the stagnant waters that have been too still for many years (Blizzard).

Lmao can't wait to play
After doing the math this game is pay to skip a head in a real big way also they have skins set at pretty much $700+ to get the full skin. I don't really see this game lasting long even if it didn't have that p2skip bs. It just doesn't feel good at all the movement is trash you rebind your keys only to have them reset when you load into another zone. You can only walk left or right so if you're use to strafing in wow with A and D and using both mouse clicks to walk you can't do that in this game. When you hold both clicks to move then just right click to control cam why you hold A or D to strafe it will drop the click so you have no control over the cam and it just fuks movement all up in a game where you have to move out of stuff every 2 sec. It's not great movement it's not even good and if it feels like trash in the first few levels I'm just done because end game is going to be a shit show when the main thing you're fighting is cam control and movement because you can only walk left or right. Look people you want to copy wow that's fine it's fine but copy what wow did the very first thing they worked on before anything els was the feeling of the game the movement the you push a spell and it just works. No one copies that part ever that is why still to this day people always go back to wow because there is nothing out there that feels as good to play as wow. For 20+ years not one time you pushed a spell and it felt bad never not once out of the 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times you pushed that spell. That's the only thing keeping people coming back it just feels good to play what you push works and it always works.

As someone who has no clue about the drama or whats going on this is CRAZY. I feel so bad for Spid, dude genuinely seems like he is just saying his opinions on a game and getting crucified for it. Shame.
I hate how people trying to make spid the bad guy, people that listened to this man know we are all fascinated by good mmorpg on mobile, we had this man through every mmo there was that was tooken away, & im scared in a couple years this game definitely will be like, o&c/o&c2/COL/ & the list go on… these games are just money hungry instead of giving the player a real key game to play with.
