I’ve been asking for a new Mario Baseball ever since the switch came out! I love your ideas, especially the fact that you agree with me that Rosalina and Pauline need to be added as playable characters
12:40 the 82 character roster is great, the only change I'd make is get rid of the blue ghost in Luigi's team and replace it with Hellena Gravely just so you could a female character in every team. Speaking on that, I'm also happy in general with the female count of 18 Pauline Noki Peach Daisy Toadette Dixie Tiny Candy PomPom Birdo BabyPeach BabyDaisy Syrup Wendy Rosalina HoneyQueen SprixiePrincess BabyRosalina. So ya, I would've had Hellena in on Luigi's team just to say each team has a female member... and then maybe thrown in Mona on Wario's team to make it an even 20 lol
Good video, but my prediction is Rosalina will be a captain with the team name Rosalina Comets with every luma variation including Master Luma as her teammates, Mario and Luigi as well
For the Roster, I think the only change I would make is replacing Foreman Spike with Ashley from WarioWare, They all technically exist in the same universe so I think it would be cool to see them give some of the Ware characters some love. as for the campaign I feel like the Campaign in Superstar baseball was actually better, they give you challenges in the middle of actual baseball matches. so its more about actually playing baseball then doing simple tricks, I like the open world parts of sluggers but i don't think they'd go as hand in hand with the Game play style of Superstar Baseball's Story-mode
Personally I'd swap Bowser and jr's teams The koopalings plus Kamek just FEEL like an all star squad of Mario villains. "Bowser monsters" is to cool of a name to apply to a group of generic world 1-1 enemies. Those are MINIONS. Plus it just kinda makes sense for jr to have the smaller enemies

Exactly, lakitu is supposed to be the umpire. There was that one time in Mario Kart where a lakitu was a driver, even though they are supposed to be the ones fishing out any karts that find themselves in trouble. The baseball situation is very similar and does not necessarily help the chances that a lakitu will take the bat in this, especially since he is literally in a cloud. But then again, if a boo can play baseball so can a lakitu.
The New Mario baseball game I would like to see all the return characters in superstar baseball and sluggers and new characters to be added in the baseball roster and I would love to see a new baseball stadium and return stadium and even some characters could have their own stadium and I want a new story mode, game mode, Mini game, season mode, tournament, online multiplayer, and some new captain, star pitch, star swing, buddy jump and everything.
I don't see Luigi being on the same team, and i don't see King Boo being promoted to Captain. Luigi is one-half of the Mario bros, so he would be on the same team as his brother, like in the previous entries.
You mention how specifically Lanky and Chunky Kong are to appear in the crowd for the DK Temple venue? I was somehow hoping that the Temple bear some resemblance to those in the Donkey Kong 64 level Angry Aztec. Especially the 5 Door Temple. And that Lanky and Chunky even show up just outside their respective entrances if it even is the 5 Door Temple. Tiny herself even debuted in DK64 after having been rescued from what the community now calls the Tiny Temple in that same level. As in the Temple literally next door to Candy. Tiny would then play a crucial role in the plot of DK64 after her rescue from that Temple through activities that range from paying a visit to Banana Fairy Island to besting Mad Jack for key 3 in Frantic Factory to collecting pearls for the Gloomy Galleon mermaid to growing the bean in Fungi Forest to the far more crucial getting into Hideout Helm to turn off the machine and ultimately helping lay the smackdown on the Kremling king by simply sneaking into his left shoe to tickle his toes. And her chemistry with especially Chunky really shows throughout the campaign through roles ranging from clearing out the 5 Door Temple to accessing the aforementioned beanstalk area to the sax pad for pound the X in Isles to going into and through Hideout Helm and ultimately the final fight card with his line immediately after hers. Lanky even helped out after he got rescued from the Llama Temple especially since he was the Kong to rescue Chunky in Factory and he was the other Kong next to Tiny both in the Helm order and on the final fight card. It is for this reason that a nod to Lanky and Chunky specifically in front of their respective 5 Door Temple entrances would make sense for this venue. Assuming the structure even closely resembles the 5 Door Temple. Just make sure to align the Temple with the outfield with right side being slightly preferable over left and of course do not show the weapon switches.
Do you think a Mario baseball could still be released for the switch? They usually release these games in the summer so a 2025 June/July release is possible but I have a feeling the switch 2 is coming in fall 2025. Might be too close to release it. What do you think?
With Mario Party being announced at the recent direct, I think it’s more likely that we see a Mario Baseball around the launch of the next console. It definitely could still come out on the Switch, it just depends on when the next system comes out!

9/10 there gonna give it the “free dlc” treatment and then wonder why the game didn’t sell well. Hopefully the next Mario baseball game avoids that
