I'm glad you enjoyed this one. For me it was a real slogg. I think Season 15 if my least favourite season so far, which is a shame because Tom Baker has quickly become my favourite classic doctor. As for him being a bit grumpy, I don't think he really is a bad person, definitely not like William Hartnell, but even Tom himself would agree now that he did let his ego get too big towards the end of his Doctor who career.

I like Underworld
It's nice to see this much-maligned story get some positive appraisal. Not unusually, you've gone against the grain in terms of your opinions.
Tom Baker was getting increasingly shirty at this point; he didn't get on with producer Graham Williams and he didn't really want a companion either, being initially standoffish with Louis Jameson as a result. He's long since realised and apologised for his behaviour on set at this time. By his own admission, he felt it was his show and that standards were dropping. It's old news that he wasn't especially pleasant to be around at certain times, but he's very much mellowed since.
This one is really let down by its special effects. But it's alright...
We're nearly at the key to time, one of my all-time favourite seasons of dr who!!! When you get to it pls mention how much i love it 🙏
people detest this one but i think it's Tom Baker's bestest ever.... my favs:
1 - Underworld
2 - The Androids of Tara
3 - Destiny of the Daleks
4 - The Seeds of Doom
5 - The Hand of Fear
6 - The Invasion of Time
also it's pretty well known that Tom was Hartnell levels of asshole... it's a shame
