I didn't go in with high expectations or thinking that I was going to see '91 GNR. But they far exceeded expectations. The band was tight and at no point did it seem like Axl was phoning it in. He gave 100% the entire show and wasn't "huffing and puffing" like some other front men out there. His voice seemed to get better as the show went. Oh, and Carrie Underwood killed it as an opener.
Think you could do what he does at 61? No, i highly doubt you could. At 61 hes still better than all the popular rappers nowadays. Old rock music is the best music.
I think it's very unfair the attacks he suffers because of the voice, since it hasn't changed at all. Mickey Mouse's voice has always been like this and only now people are bothered...
Its so unfair how axl gets attacked because of his voice, he is 61 and still performing on stage in front of thousands of people, and most people who attack him listen to their underground rappers who only sing about money and girls. He clearly is just doing what he loves, and hes being judged. Especially when the people judging cant even come close to what he does at 61.
