This helps to complete the picture for me.
Regarding our cousin on the death railway during WW11.
    A big thank you.
    Cheers🍺

Quite the history lesson. You did your research for sure. So many deaths and forced labor alone. I had no idea. Makes me never want to complain about a hard day on the construction site. Cheers.

Been living in Kanchanaburi now for 5 years, love it. Enjoying your videos, a breath of fresh air from all the other sefl-centred vloggers (with the odd exception of course), but most of them it's all about them.

I have been there too and 1 thing that got me was, as i was sitting at one of the restaurants on the river bank was that fact of how hot and humid it was (sweating whilst drinking my cold cool Singha on my birthday) and thinking 'how the hell did these brave men work for 12 hours a day back breaking work in the heat and with a bowl of rice a day'
with the war graves and the bridge it really hit home what had happened there my only regret was we didn't have time to go to Hellfire pass
keep up your good work with the vloggs very entertaining

This is the the best youtube video about kanchanaburi I have ever seen so far, It deserves 10 times more than 4000 views. I have been to a lot of places in Thailand , kanchanaburi is the most memorable one. your video is showing so much details I have missed out when I was there which makes me miss the place even more.

My only boss was a POW on the railway as a 21 year old. He was in Singapore when it fell and never managed to fire a shot as the governor surrendered, he had been there for 3 months. I visited 3 years ago and did exactly the same tour as you, incredible couple of days. I actually went and spoke to the archivist at the Australian museum and he had all of the guys war records including his signature when he was debriefed on release.

Sean’s vlogs have so much variety to them. As I say. I predict by October you will be double figure + subs. Channel will blow up. It’s already gaining good traction for a new channel bud.

The name of the strech of water which runs under the metal bridge which he walks over was once called The Mae Khlung River in Kanchanaburi, it was changed to the River Kwai for tourism after the popularity of the film The Bridge on the river Kwai,
