Thankyou so much for watching also, a request for your questions (arty or personal!) for the up coming Q&A. Please leave in the comments on this video!
I vote for painting the floor spot… which is weird for me since I LOVE the whole grungy look… but my first thoughts every time I see it are, ‘she needs to paint that spot’… 🥴 Not like me to think like that… I suggest a solid color to fit in with the ‘decluttering’ Love you, Wendy… 💖
I’ve said it before and I probably say it again… James is such a beautiful soul inside and out as are you, Wendy. I really feel that you complement each other so well imo. Does James ever post his art works anywhere? I’d love to see some of his “stuff”! There’s so many questions but there’s a couple that would be super helpful right about now. One is what is the brand of the electric table legs please? I looked at buying a sit stand desk but they’re crazy expensive so I’d love to try your solution. I don’t have a James, sadly, but I have a son who could help me :) Then the other questions are what are your two favourite watercolour brushes? I notice you always seem to be using the same two, most of the time anyway. So I wonder what sizes are they, what brand, what are they made of and where do you get them? I ask because I’m finally getting back to art, thanks to finding your channel. I’m going to start an art journal. I adore watercolours but need a couple of good brushes. I’d rather get one or two good ones than cheaper ones because I think they make a difference to how you paint? And, I have a Winsor Newton 48 half pan palette, what would be the best tube paints to add to that? If I could press my luck I would ask you more personal questions… I have chronic pain, fibromyalgia & back and neck issues too and I wonder if you have found a way to push things like pain, for example, to the side when you want to create? If you have, what works for you? I want to try and boost my diet. Maybe adding in the smoothies/juices... It seems to me that you seem to have more energy since you changed your diet? Do you feel you have more emotional energy as well as physical since you changed your diet? Would you mind telling me which dietary change you think made the biggest difference? Thank you so much Wendy, loves and soft hugs from Australia. PS Do you still have an affiliate link for Jackson’s? If not, do you have one anywhere else?
Dearest Wendy…..LOVE THIS VIDEO! been an artist all my 75 years of life and have gotten many ideas from you in your studio. You inspire me, and I thank you. You’re an amazing, SWEET, AND A WONDERFUL PERSON. James is adorable too…..such a lovely couple. You work wonderful together. Sending love and hugs❤❤❤
The metal trolley could be the refreshment trolley, since it's good to keep all foodstuffs away from art supplies. The timber trolley could become a packaging workstation for your shop, tucked away until needed.
You are such a beautiful soul. I felt like crying watching this. You touched on most of the things in my own life that I am going through. I am 51 years old, and, I feel as if I am shutting away more now, than when I was younger. I was always a shy and quiet mouse, staying in the background, yet, somehow keeping in touch with the world around me, and reaching out to my few friends, basically, staying relevant while still being my quiet self. But now, in the last few years, I have gotten more and more introverted. I tried to have a music UA-cam, where I try to sing, but, I am so quiet and so scared on the videos, that I stopped making them. My question to you is, if you are introverted, and you say you get more so with age, how do you keep doing videos? How do you talk and put yourself out there? You are extraordinary at it. You look confident, radiant, and in your element, that, one would never know you are an introvert, and getting more so by the day. That is my one question for your q and a. I hope that is ok to ask. You are an amazing artist, and I have watched every single video you have ever made, learning art skills and journaling skills along the way, and, I know your Channel is art based, but, when you talk about life things, I am so grateful and I feel as if I am watching myself. So, I hope my question is ok to ask, instead of an art question. Thank you so much for your insights. Thank you for being you. You make the world a wonderful place.
I have ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis. After a few tough years with my health and a lot of changes happening since mid 2017 (the loss of my job and all those social connections, the death of my mom, and the death of a close friend to name a few), I decided to start making changes in May 2022 and it's been a long process. I started with my diet to reduce inflammation and just feel better. I'm proud to say I succeeded in doing that and lost 78 lbs. in the process. I have also started decluttering, downsizing, and reorganizing. I'm happy you mentioned that the brain uses as much energy for small decisions as big ones, because I often find myself "decisioned" out. I have to really pace myself with ME/CFS because my energy can get depleted if I push too hard (or deal with too many decisions). If I go too far it can take anywhere from days to months to recover so pacing is definitely key in my life. I love the changes you've made to your space because it looks so cozy but still very functional. Thanks for your video. I always look forward to the days you post because they always leave me smiling. Much love to you and James. 💜🤗🤗🤗
I have to stop the video and comment. This whole video is speaking to me. Everything in this world seems to be in a big uproar! I desperately need to get the sugar out of my diet- im soo addicted to it!😭 and I desperately need to prune back all plant babies in my studio AND....my trolley is a complete mess. I just don't know how to even start!!😢 ok ill keep watching here. Thanks for letting me vent! Hugs to you Wendy and to everyone here!🥰🤗❤️
What a life saver James is. That man never ceases to amaze me. He is such a helpful, patient man with no discernible eye rolling, deep sighs or huffy puffs. It’s about time you added a male fairy to your artworks methinks 🧌
I could move in there tomorrow, if I didn’t live in Australia! And that floor is like a crooked picture, it’s been annoying me! Silly. But I would paint it, definitely!
decision fatigue is real! As I have decluttered, I have found I will power declutter for a couple days and I will be mentally exhausted for a couple days after. This is permission to give yourself grace and let your mind rest when it needs it. We are so trained to be go go go work work work and wonder why we are burnt-out 🥴 💜
Wow! Amazing electric table legs - what a range of height! Love the declutter and reorg of the studio. I would consider whether a trolley might be useful to wheel things over to your chaise, or if not, perhaps one or both trolleys could be useful at home, to hold art supplies (on those bad weather days when working at home) or to use for holding supplies at home (my mother used to have a trolley with snacks and reading material to take from the kitchen to the lounge, and even to the garden, so what she wanted was in reach. I am doing a clear out and reorg of my home space and closets - going slow while battling with sciatica, and decision burnout. I feel that I am starting to see a difference, but still quite a bit to go. I promised myself to get through most of my living space before attacking the studio (trying not to get overwhelmed). I've gone through my clothes and my kitchen, a huge improvement. My art lately has been limited to mostly pencil sketches, with the occasional line and wash in my art journal. Just trying to get things done before a holiday rest at year end, before addressing the studio reorg in the new year. I noticed you have been working in watercolour a lot lately. Is this a direction you wish to explore more? Or will you be using these as studies to incorporate into mixed media projects in future? I am fascinated in seeing you develop as an artist. You seem to be exploring a softer and more romantic view, and I look forward to seeing the direction you choose from here. Much love and light and best wishes, and that your "evolved" studio proves to be an inviting place to create, and dance with your muse. Always lovely to see James, the wizard of DIY and tech support (wouldn't we all love our very own tech guru and DIY magician?) Gentle hugs from the antipodes, where it is warming up, as spring settles in, and summer approaches 🧡❤️💜✨✨✨🤗
Accepting the sponsorships and sharing or awarding them to your “peeps” is a good idea! Many of us have very little to spend on quality art materials/supplies.
I love watching you and James, showing each other affection. My husband and I do that all the time. We feel it's an important part of staying connected on a soul level. I also think it shows how much you honor your relationship.
Well said. When I see Wendy and James being affectionate I think of it as them shining their lights for the world and I feel it’s really positive action to see. I think that much of the relationship stuff on social media, about relationships and/or the “opposite” sex (to whom ever the viewer is), can be quite negative (ppl seem to love to complain) so seeing and hearing beautiful, happy, positive relationships is a salve to the soul, imo.
I just organized my plants too! Finding them all perfect spots after having a clear out. I was feeling like I couldn’t love them all as much as I needed to feeling overwhelmed with more to do. I gifted mine to new plant moms. Love you and your vulnerability.❤
Your decluttering motivated me. Thank you! I’d been ignoring my spaces for a long time because I had felt overwhelmed. My living spaces are presentable now and this week I finally cleaned and decluttered my bedroom/bathroom, including the grout! Where I sleep feels so much more peaceful 😊. Sadly, my studio has been taking the brunt of it, but I hope to have it done before Christmas. I just don’t know where to start or where I’ll put everything. To keep me sane and energized, I’ve been working on cleaning/decluttering for a week and go back to painting for a week to recharge my batteries. This week’s focus is back to painting. As a reward for all the hard work I’ve put myself through, I bought some pastels to play with. Have a fun week! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you dear Wendy, we also are trying bit by bit to downsize our home so that life can go on. Seemed the summer was an easy time to shrug it off while the season was so beautiful and now I have found my urge to get back on it all. This video of watching James and you work together has gave me the royal kick I needed. Cheers
I would take the other trolley home and see if you can use it there. If you don’t miss it at the studio…then you can always get rid of it later. Love the things you have done in the studio and for yourself. Big hugs!!
Wow this is the first video of yours that I have had the privilege to watch. I also have spent One month purging my little studio. The whole month of October . What a difference it makes to clean up the space so you feel good being in it. It becomes a little sanctuary. I just loved this video and look forward to watching more. Thank you for sharing.
@@robinhuizing4406that’s a question I have! In been cat sitting one of my sons 2 cats. It was supposed to be for a couple of months but so far it’s 2+ years, lol. I really love them but they fur gets everywhere! Do you have any tips on how to get painting dry without cat fit getting attached? 😅
I like the shelving being a natural wood as it adds contrast instead of everything being 'whitewashed'.. like a kitchen having contrasting cupboards and not the same as the walls. Natural timber shelves would also harmonise/complement the natural indoor plants. ❤🙏
My head is full of distractions at the moment, feeling deleted😳😳….now having been diagnosed with arthritis in back and legs and fingers 😳 I’m trying to rethink stuff. I just wish I could just do art all the time instead of having to deal with house stuff, cooking etc. Anyway, I changing my routine and having more me time.❤️❤️❤️. Thank you Wendy for keeping us in the light and moving forward. 🖌🎨❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've been trying to declutter since the new year, I don't have a studio though, 8 just use the dining table at home and have storage boxes everywhere! 😳 Don't paint the floor, it's lovely! Keep the wooden trolley, it's made for longevity and it holds more. Don't paint the condiment shelf, it looks nice as it is and you need some contrast 😍 x
I was just thinking that your little brown shelves could look a lot better if they were painted white and then you asked the question 😊. I would paint them white and refresh the backboard at the same time. Thank you so much for your videos, we love watching them 😊
Your plants are GORGEOUS! They all look so healthy and happy. Will you share your secret for healthy, beautiful, green plants? Thank you! I do enjoy your wonderful videos…I too am a bit forgetful. Not a bad thing..forgetfulness keeps you on your toes!🤗
Such a beautiful video Wendy. I have often wondered what a typical day of eating is for you. I see your breakfast in the mornings and think it looks so filling and something sustaining. I am looking to change everything as I heal from losing my father. I have no roots now and feel newness wanting to push through and hearing you talk about cleansing from the inside out is inspiring ❤
Can you do an entire video on your plant babies? What species, how you water and fertilize and prune them, what lessons you’ve learned about helping them to thrive? I only have pothos in my studio but I’d love to have more variety!
Dear Wendy, I watch your youtube for more than a year now but I never comment. I feel like you've become a dear friend in my life and I really like your content as it is real, authentic and inspiring. I found you when I was looking into starting a journal but you became so much more. You inspire me to be kind to myself, to take better care of myself, to cocoon when I need too and that it is ok to say "no thank you" when things get too complicated. You inspired me with the decluttering and I managed to start and complete many decluttering projects like kitchen, wardrobe and pantry. I have a lot more to go (the worst of it our attic), but it already feels like the energy is moving again. Thank you for being true to yourself and shining your light bright. The question I have for you is: Do you believe in higher power and if yes where do you feel closest to it? What do your spiritual practices look like? If these questions are to personal just ignore them, but I am curious as since I've started this path following in your footsteps I found myself feeling closer to God and what connects us all.
I just love seeing change and the sweet way you and James work together. My hubby and I are the same way. He gets me and it is apparent that James "gets you". Positive changes make for fabulous art. x's lj
I would say to paint the floor, even though it can be disruptive until it's done. Being grounded is important and the floor being refreshed will help that. I do love the worn look of the floor, but make it your own.
Hey the sweet Wendy, love everything about your video. I’m feeling emotional today so it was nice visiting you in your studio. I have two trolleys and eventually decided they did take up too much room and moved them to the garage. One hold my laundry supplies and cleaning stuff, the other one hold bits and bobs like can or jars of nails, tools for easy access and other stuff. It works better there than in the studio. Love your leg board now that you’ve painted it. Your main art table is super but t think your whole studio is to die for and I love the chaise lounge is a lovely addition. T’s just so open and freeing. I love the mirror there too. I’d keep that perfect trolly that’s empty. Is it able to be used at home? It’s a lovely piece. You are looking amazing Wendy and I see you more uplifting and energizing. I hear it in your voice. I’m admitting that I got choked up at the end… James is so sweet and caring. I know everyone has good and bad days as a couple but you both are so perfect together. I’m so happy for you. Love to you both. Have a good week. ❤❤I🎹🎨🖼️🌹🌺🍀🤗😚😍 Had to add that I’m also an introvert and found it exhausting being up all the time when I worked. I do occasionally meet a friend or two but just enjoy being in my own space with my dog. Softest hugs 🤗
Hi Wendy 🥰, here's my thoughts on trolley dilemma . I'd keep the older trolley in the studio (it has some sentimental history and you might regret letting it go?) - use it for keeping the stuff your using on current projects etc or as an 'inspiration' trolley to keep things that spark creativity for you to pick up and play with. The other trolley - could you use it at home to keep staple supplies that you can use when working from home on the days that you don't get to the studio? - also maybe keep a 'grab and go' plein air art kit on it so you can just pick up stuff to take outside on your walks to sketch and paint (spring is not too far away and getting outside to paint is always nice). I've just got myself a trolley as I don't have space to keep stuff out so it's really handy to keep supplies on that I'm using and not having to pack everything back into drawers and cupboards at the end of the day. I'd be lost without it now! 😄
Lovely catching up with your decluttering Wendy ~ This has certainly helped me to focus on my own space clearing, and yes it really does start from the inside out ~ Your studio is looking a whole lot clearer and brighter and so Lovely Lady are You ~ Brightest Blessings ✨🌹✨
Looks soooo much better. I went through this process when I moved house a few years ago. It made a huge difference to my life. I feel much lighter and freer.
I recently went through my little studio room and decluttered and re arranged it felt good , still not as would love but better a work in progress for me too if my room is messy and cluttered it is hard to focus on creating as all I see is a mess so I like to have things tidy and in its place and room to work. you inspired me to do the decluttering as I have not done since i moved and set up room. so felt so good to get it done. I feel much better now and know where every thing is is so much better to get what i need and feel free to create more. love to you and James so happy you have a wonderful mate who is so supportive to you.💖💖💖 you are so blessed.
Thank you 🙏 for sharing everything looks amazing and very functionable at the same time cozy would love to hear more about your art and food choices❤😊❤😊❤
Your studio looks refreshed, a new lease on life. Have you considered putting the trolleys under your artwork desk/station which would clear more walkable floor space? 10yrs ago I downsized from the family home into a one-bedroom unit. I had to think ‘outside the box’ re: furniture placement and use of space. I converted my dining room into my study/studio/music room and am often frustrated as to the best use of space in a multifunctional room. However, no regrets re: downsizing……with age (66yo) smaller spaces are easier to maintain. But, you do have to constantly put items away or the space looks cluttered. I have learned so much from you, Wendy, about art (having had no formal teaching) and having fun with it. Thank you.
Totally understand the bit about feeling introvert think that's normal. Loved this Wendy darling the drudio looks beautiful and you always inspire you're amaizing inspiring stay you 😘
Thank you so much for sharing your content with us it seems to let us know that we're not the only ones that know change and decluttering is good and healthy for us 🖌️🕯️
Hi Wendy, I wonder what your favorite paint brushes are? Favorite palette? Favorite brand of watercolors? Also if you could only have three colors what would they be ? (Just for fun!) Feel so lovely when you’re videos are playing and I am making my coffee and waking up imagining the beautiful possibilities of what I can create today❤! My Mama also recently started watching your videos… we love your spirit and self care practices So much. You are so appreciated and so thoughtful.
Your space looks so much better and brighter, Wendy. Weĺ done. I love the tablecwith electronic legs. Been doing a bit more decluttering today after a craft fair. Finished at exactly 4.44pm just in time to catch ypur video :)
Dearest Wendy, I thoroughly enjoyed your video and seeing all the updates in the studio. You and James are a great team and you two just flow so well together. I absolutely love all the changes in the studio, it makes so much more sense to my brain the moves you made. I think your daybed have found it's perfect spot now. I have also been decluttering and moving my artspace. I also have loads...or had loads of plants in our apartment and my studio space, so what I have been doing is to combine different plants that use the same amount of water into 1 pot. So I still have all my plants, but they look less, yet they make more of a statement now. With regards to your trolleys, you can always move them to your home studio if you don't use them in the big studio. Trolleys are even handy in the bathroom or kitchen...so I vote for keeping the trolleys. You could even make the Ikea trolley a plant trolley for your studio or home...options are limitless. Oh and I have noticed the gorgeous ring on your ring finger and saw James also has a ring on his left hand...so if it's official or unofficial...CONGRATULATIONS 🥰
Kudos to you and James...you really did so much to change the energy in the studio. And not surprised it took months. There was so many decisions, For now I would keep the larger trolley...looks better, fits in the space and useful for temp projects. I am guessing that you have a designated area for what is on the smaller trolley. "A place for everything and everything in its place" is a good motto to follow...then as messy as an area gets, it is easy to clean it up because there is a place for every item. Also I would paint the little shelf white that is next to the pegboard. I think it would make the area more peaceful and the piece would look and "feel" better with fresh coat of paint. Your watercolor faces are just lovely.
"Decisioned out" has beenmy theme lately! Glad to know I'm not alone in that, Wendy! Your art space is looking cosier everytime you're in it. Much love ✨️ My question may seem odd: what makeup, if any, do you use? You always look so fresh and youthful, I have been curious. As an "aging woman", finding complimentary make up is a trick.
Your studio is great. I can suggest you that less is more so you can sell the trolley or place it in your home and put the mirrow in that pleace. Arrange the plants in a line, close to the mirrow and the corner. You will have a wide space for dancing and moving. Those are my suggestions. By the way can you tell me the measurement of the electronic table ? Thank you.
Maybe hang on to the spare trolley, especially if it is sentimental. You might regret giving it up. I'd be like, oh why did I get rid of it? I could use it now! I've done that and regretted it after. Maybe store it under your electric table when you're working standing up and find another place when sitting??? Lots of love Wendy and James❤
Your studio is looking wonderful. If my art space gets too out of control, it brings my art to a hot. Ever since my husband died after an illness in September, I have been eating better. You can't snack if you don't bring any into the house, right?
I've enjoyed seeing the evolution of your studio space. I especially love the peg board and the various little shelves. Everything has a place and yet it's easy to find what you need. Personally, I would keep the wood trolly there at the studio, the wood looks nice with everything else and take the "generic" one home since they can be used for anything really. Thanks for sharing, I know it's a lot of work to film and edit all that. 😊
Minor point of that whole transformation, but I absolutely love the look of the peace lilies lining the edge of the door space like a forest border path.
You should get yourself a cushy mat for when you’re standing at your work table. It makes a world of difference. And yes, a bit of paint on the floor will make it very inviting.
Your getting better at making video's!! Aaand, I'm glad you show all of this to us, inspiration is great! Q&A, I'm assuming everyone wants to know what diet? But more importantly, I want to know if you listen to music when you work?
Re the trolleys. I think you should keep the timber trolley, it as someone else called it “the James trolley” since there’s obviously an emotional attachment to it. Maybe put all the stuff from the metal trolley on it. Perhaps some containers to act like “drawers”? Then pass the metal one on. I feel that someone else could really use it, so you’d be helping them out. Or, also as someone else suggested, take it home and see if you can use it there. If you can’t then you could pass it on. 😊 Oh, you have acrylic markers in that trolley I think. What brand of markers do you use? There are so many out there it’s hard to know which are good for actual art and which are more for “colouring in”.
I think you should paint your floor, it will reflect all you have done and frame it. As above, so below. I could imagine a beautiful deep green. I also think you could turn your second trolley into a tea trolly for now if you want to keep it. Otherwise can you use it at home ?
James is so good for you. He’s so patient and always willing to help. What a lovely partnership. I love the way the studio feels now. I love that white little cabinet shelf above that nice table. This feels like a vast improvement and feels like it’s a better match to you. I think you should get rid of one of the trolleys. My question is, where did u get the sit stand legs from?
Delightful and comforting as always. I've recently had a big move to Wiltshire to live with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters. It's been a bit traumatic but I'm settling slowly. Hoping to restart my art and craft hobbies soon.
I love your Studio!, so beautiful. The trolley saga; perhaps you could create a mobile home and feeding area for the feathered beings during the cold months, place it outside your studio/ home.. a mobile home for the birds! .. 🤔 🍓
I, too, have been decluttering my work/creative space, trying to organize my space. It's been a challenging year of alot of life stuff happening and I needed to take this month to reprioritize my life. Decluttering and organizing my work/creative space where I spend the bulk of my days working feels so much better now. I feel like I can breathe better and it feels so much more inviting and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your journey as well, it helps as some of us are going through similar experiences in our lives. I enjoy watching your videos. And I love your music playlist, would love to know who is the artist or songs? So beautiful and angelic sounding. Have a wonderful day and week.
Another great video. Personally, I would let the ikea trolley go. The other trolley is lovely. You could store it under the standing desk when not in use. Interesting fact on the decision making. I now know why I find my decluttering so hard. Thank you ❤
I have 3 carts which you call trolleys. I love mine I can pull and push where ever I'm working in my craft room. I absolutely love your space. It's remarkable. Thanks for sharing. Tell James hello for me, please. Ya'll take good care of each other. Oh I love your peg board. Its amazing. Have a fabulous week. Sending love and big hugs Sherry ❤❤❤
I am about to really start my declutter/letting go process. I am going to let go of my apartment in 1 month and move into a short shuttle bus (20 foot). I want to travel to the western half of the US, I've lived in the Northeast for most of my life, and seen a lot of the east coast. You certainly are inspiring me to focus on what I really want and need,. When you were setting up your pegboard, it made me think that might be a very handy item to have, provided I can find a good spot for it. Maybe covering one of the 8 side windows...
Thanks Wendy for inspiring me to try harder to declutter. I'm lucky to have a small craft/art room. However, there's only one window. Do you have any suggestions for increasing light?? Your studio is now looking great. Room to breathe ✨️
☮️ Hello my Beautiful Friend 🥰 I was watching your video earlier and I want to Thank you for inspiring me to get my new sketchbook out and sketch ✍️ a lady and I love her I love playing in my sketchbook But like you said I feel like I have to make a perfect sketch every time and you pulled me out of the Rabbit Hole so Thank you xo 💋 👍🙏💐😇🫶🏼
Hi from Tasmania Australia Wendy! Just recently stumbled across your utube channel and loved all of your video's. You are such a shining light and remind me of a dainty little pixie fairy with all of your delightful quirkiness! After a my having a creative block the last few weeks you have inspired me to get back to it and it feels good. Thanx again Wendy blessings from our Island home!
I would keep your wooden trolley, its nice and its large. I find that is helpful at times when I am doing mixed media and have so many supplies I want near by, so it is a surface I that changes depending on what I am doing. You can always replace the Ikea one if you decide you need it down the road.
Ok Wendy you have transformed your studio and the corner with daybed and plants is warm and cozy. Question: how did you arrive at the faces you paint? They are beautiful and poignant, so how did you find them? I marvel at the ease of your style.
Your studio space looks amazing, what a wonderful place to be creative! I have two of those trolleys like the one that you got on market place and they are great. However, in your space, I think the wooden one looks more in keeping with the other furniture you have. With regards to the wooden storage shelf you were talking about, before you mentioned about painting it, I thought it might look nice in a 'duck egg blue' colour.
❓Questions: Who are your top 5 artists? What is your favourite gallery for viewing work by other artists? I don't think you should paint your floor as it looks fine and it's a lot of energy you could spend relaxing or making art instead...unless you really want to of course. Thanks for sharing your studio and thoughts on self care 😊
Thankyou so much for watching also, a request for your questions (arty or personal!) for the up coming Q&A. Please leave in the comments on this video!
Hi Wendy! How long have you been making art? 😊
I vote for painting the floor spot… which is weird for me since I LOVE the whole grungy look… but my first thoughts every time I see it are, ‘she needs to paint that spot’… 🥴 Not like me to think like that… I suggest a solid color to fit in with the ‘decluttering’
Love you, Wendy… 💖
Your skin looks like it's happy with the dietary changes. :) I'd be interested to know if you read any books other than your art books?
I’ve said it before and I probably say it again… James is such a beautiful soul inside and out as are you, Wendy. I really feel that you complement each other so well imo. Does James ever post his art works anywhere? I’d love to see some of his “stuff”!
There’s so many questions but there’s a couple that would be super helpful right about now. One is what is the brand of the electric table legs please? I looked at buying a sit stand desk but they’re crazy expensive so I’d love to try your solution. I don’t have a James, sadly, but I have a son who could help me :)
Then the other questions are what are your two favourite watercolour brushes?
@@emilylee5353ooo… Good question!
Good for you! That is alot to deal with.
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"
We all need more Jameses in the world - a true gentleman ❤
Your studio looks great. I know you’re thoroughly enjoying it. Keep the floor as is. It has lots of character!!!
Keep the lovely wooden trolley as it has some nice flat spaces for drying paintings etc.
Keep the trollies!!
Love your channel Wendy ♥
Yes, and yes!!! ♥️
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hear! Hear!!! 🎉❤
I could move in there tomorrow, if I didn’t live in Australia! And that floor is like a crooked picture, it’s been annoying me! Silly. But I would paint it, definitely!
❤ Right 👍🫶🏼
Yes....
decision fatigue is real! As I have decluttered, I have found I will power declutter for a couple days and I will be mentally exhausted for a couple days after. This is permission to give yourself grace and let your mind rest when it needs it. We are so trained to be go go go work work work and wonder why we are burnt-out 🥴 💜
I vote to keep the little curio shelf as-is. What a good job you two have done!!! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Yes, I totally agree about the little shelf. Much better to leave it as is.
I agree, decluttering makes room in my brain for creativity
It's looking so good. I'd keep the James trolley and also keep the dark wood shelf, dark.
I’m using one of my trolleys for propagating plants! It’s very convenient! Thank you for sharing with us!
My top shelf of my trolley is my cats perch- nest. Otherwise she is on my table or pallet. Or painting😂..
You and James inspire me. Thank you for being like a good friend. ❤
A warm hug from Costa Rica. ☀️
Little steps matter! 🥹💪
Don't paint the floor, it's lovely! Keep the wooden trolley, it's made for longevity and it holds more. Don't paint the condiment shelf, it looks nice as it is and you need some contrast 😍 x
I agree
I was just thinking that your little brown shelves could look a lot better if they were painted white and then you asked the question 😊. I would paint them white and refresh the backboard at the same time. Thank you so much for your videos, we love watching them 😊
Your plants are GORGEOUS! They all look so healthy and happy. Will you share your secret for healthy, beautiful, green plants? Thank you! I do enjoy your wonderful videos…I too am a bit forgetful. Not a bad thing..forgetfulness keeps you on your toes!🤗
I love these power adjustable desks. We have them at work. So nice. 💚💚💚💚
I love 💕 your studio. Thanks for the lovely little walk in nature with you. I enjoyed your video and your background music 🎶
thank you so much xxx so glad you enjoyed it xx
@ 👍💕😊
If these questions are to personal just ignore them, but I am curious as since I've started this path following in your footsteps I found myself feeling closer to God and what connects us all.
awww thankyou so much xxx dear KatsNook xx you are doing sooo well! It defintely moves the energy which encourages more!
Love the walk through autumn leaves...so evocative xx
oh love it too! xx colours, the crunch!!
I really love your studio. Thanks for the encouragement to get started and keep going. I hope yall have a wonderful week.😊
I'm so glad you made this catch up video; these videos are my favorite to watch. I would like more videos on aging and being an introvert. :)
🥰Thanks so much for sharing. Helps my heart to know that tiny decisions are just as exhausting as the "big" ones. I absolutely get decisioned out too.
you are and have made so much progress on your journey xx well done you xxx be proud of you xx
I’m admitting that I got choked up at the end…
James is so sweet and caring.
Lovely vlog! Nice to get an update! Btw, I wouldn't paint the floor. It's lovely as it is!!! 😍
Yay! Congratulations! You guys have done an amazing job 👏🌸😃
Thank you.
Love these catchup videos, so inspiring ❤
Totally understand the bit about feeling introvert think that's normal. Loved this Wendy darling the drudio looks beautiful and you always inspire you're amaizing inspiring stay you 😘
So happy for you, that you now beginning to reap all tue benefits of the hard work you've put in with your declutter and detox. ❤😊❤
Thank you so much for sharing your content with us it seems to let us know that we're not the only ones that know change and decluttering is good and healthy for us 🖌️🕯️
I would keep the wood one in the studio. Can you use the other trolley in your home studio ?😊
Love your space, Im still a work in progress. But as you say little changes, makes a big difference
Hi Wendy,
I wonder what your favorite paint brushes are? Favorite palette?
Favorite brand of watercolors?
Also if you could only have three colors what would they be ? (Just for fun!)
Feel so lovely when you’re videos are playing and I am making my coffee and waking up imagining the beautiful possibilities of what I can create today❤!
My Mama also recently started watching your videos… we love your spirit and self care practices
So much. You are so appreciated and so thoughtful.
Keep the wood one!!! It fits nicely against the wall ;-)
Your space looks so much better and brighter, Wendy. Weĺ done. I love the tablecwith electronic legs. Been doing a bit more decluttering today after a craft fair. Finished at exactly 4.44pm just in time to catch ypur video :)
oh fab 4:44! well done for doing some decluttering!! xxx
Your space looks warm and cozy I love it well done.
"Decisioned out" has beenmy theme lately! Glad to know I'm not alone in that, Wendy!
Your art space is looking cosier everytime you're in it. Much love ✨️
My question may seem odd: what makeup, if any, do you use? You always look so fresh and youthful, I have been curious. As an "aging woman", finding complimentary make up is a trick.
Love to you both... Inspired my day. ty. I put my trolley to use as tea & coffee & cups and urns. hugz.
The second trolley is like a possibility for new creativity. Doesn't take too much space and the possibilities are endless. Just saying.
Decluttering my car and detailing it❤
Re the trolleys.
Oh, you have acrylic markers in that trolley I think.
Give the trolly to James for his work station. As a shelf while packaging
Aaaw my hubby has just brought me a big mug of hot chocolate to drink while I'm watching your video ❤❤❤❤
cute!! enjoy the cosy treat and hope you like the video too!
Love your charming studio❤
I love to watch your videos. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤😂
I love your Studio!, so beautiful.
The trolley saga; perhaps you could create a mobile home and feeding area for the feathered beings during the cold months, place it outside your studio/ home.. a mobile home for the birds! .. 🤔
🍓
Sending love and big hugs Sherry ❤❤❤
ah carts yes, xx they are definitely useful for moving around! Thank you! xx You too flower Sherry and will do!!! xxx Big loves xx
8:44 I have painted peg board before. What I remember is that it sucks up the paint faster than you can apply it. It most likely is not the paint.
☮️ Hello my Beautiful Friend 🥰 I was watching your video earlier and I want to
Thank you for inspiring me to get my new sketchbook out and sketch ✍️ a lady and I love her
I love playing in my sketchbook
But like you said I feel like I have to make a perfect sketch every time and you pulled me out of the Rabbit Hole so Thank you xo 💋 👍🙏💐😇🫶🏼
Studio looks fabulous!!!!❤
Studio looks amazing! I'd let the smaller trolley go and keep the larger one tbh 🥳
Missed you ♥
Wish I had some for the heavy lifting and assembly!!!
keep the trolley!!!! or at the very least , bring it home. You never know if you'll need it next time you do a redo
