- Russian ships able to perform underwater operations were present near to where explosions later took place on the Nord Stream pipelines, according to an investigative documentary.
The vessels were reportedly located using intercepted Russian navy communications.
Underwater explosions last September knocked the two Nord Stream pipelines - built to carry gas from Russia to Europe - out of action.
The cause of the blasts is unclear.

The flow WAS cut off Nordstream 1, and Germany refused to open NS2. So at the time of explosions, there was no gas delivered already.

Not a wild conspiracy theory they at the same time cut the cable another place and splined the cable to future-wise copy all data on the fly!
In episode 3 that aired last night something that are very hard not to consider solid evidence of it being the Russians sabotaging Nordstream 1 and 2 were presented. That would be a clear article 5 violation if so, right?
This "drone thing" came just a few hours before this were presented to the Nordic public where now 3 out of 4 are in NATO. NOT a coincidence as far as I see it and the whole thing are a diversion! NATO´s article 5 have been breached by the Russians on two occasions are the clear take away I personally got from the evidence presented!

They did not discuss why Russia would do this. It makes no sense for Russia to blow up the pipelines as they need the money it generates- but it does make sense if the US did it and we see after it was destroyed that they sold more expensive gas to Europe.

Russia wanted to tighten the gas so that Europe freezes under a harsh winter, hence why said that they were drying up the pipelines for "maintenance" and why they also blew up the pipeline.

Russia has done this before. Back in 2006 they blew up their own pipeline supplying gas into Georgia during an energy dispute. That also happened just before winter. The kremlin denied everything, obviously. But that's the kinda thing you do when you want to use your energy exports as a weapon, while retaining plausible deniability.
