I want to tell you that we will win. There is no such force that can stand in the way of the victorious march of the free people of the world. We have to unite. As a Russian soldier, I offer my hand to you, the great American soldiers. Hello soldiers, forward to victory!
KV thank you very much !!
You are very welcome.
I think she was trying to say 'fellow soldiers - not hello, soldiers - she said an F - not an H, but the articulation was all wrong, hence why it sounded more like 'hello'.
@@realitycheck1086 you're right she mispronounced the word "fellow" , i think she actually wanted to say fellow soldiers
really fucked up the way the US treated the Russians after the war, especially considering the good will
Probably the coolest woman that ever lived on earth
Alica Ljungberg agreed!
Yup. She was a bad ass!!
excuse me for my bad english, but i today watched the movie about this women, and 3 or 4 times started to cryin, such a brave woman, the woman who have bigger 'balls' than any other man in WW2, such a special women...... i would be lying if i say i'm bigger man than her......i'm so sad that I never heard of this woman until today, until i saw the movie.......i wanna say, we everyday listen of women that are better than her....and it is sad..........this is one of trully the greatest women that changed the history.......what a apecial woman, what a special heart, going to some of biggest losses......may my thoughts be with her family.....such an ordinary woman who gave her of all her best..... THANK YOU
It's true, the more Nazis you kill the cooler you are
@@TheJollyLlama875 remember the time my grandfather 360 noscoped a GERMAN good times
One of the heroes of the age. She married a fellow sniper in the field - their honeymoon was spent fighting Germans in a trench - and buried him there when he was killed by a mortar in 1942. She was called a master of the ‘doublet’ and would regularly stay in position for 15 to 20 hours before taking her shot. Her longest duel against a German sniper lasted 72 hours.
How ild was she when her husband died?
@@celestialsalamander 25
my only knowledge on this is a historical ficition book, but im pretty sure kitsenko was an officer not a sniper
Me at 26. Grown man, sleeps at 5 oclock in morning playing games and sleeping all day.
say thanks to Ludmila and more then 20 millions people who died for your life today.
To be fair we are not in all compassing World war but yeah she is cool as he k
You may feel that your life is insignificant, but you should rejoice that the entire world isn't engulfed in a terrible conflict where so many men and women need to be thrust into terrible bloody battles for years on end, with irreparable damage to civilian infrastructure and lives. Instead be thankful towards the many who fell in battle to grant these liberties of being able to enjoy carefree moments.
These were war times, once some war comes and knock on ur door u might do the same
love that face at 0:05 lmao she looked into the camera like she was on the office
She was Jim Halpert before Jim Halpert was ever Jim Halpert
"I have not killed 309 men. I have killed 309 fascists."
She had a beautiful smile and probably a good sense of humor.
She is very pretty indeed
Lyuda even sounds like a force of nature. Her strength is a role model for all women.
You have mispelt her name.
@@Ingen.17 i think its her nickname or short for "lyudmila"
@@ZukoShifu Probably yeah.

@@comradekenobi6908 check out miss pavlichenko by woody Guthrie to learn here epic story.
She sadly died from a stroke in 1974.
She was never captured and convicted and burnt at the stake by the nazis though im she sure they would have if she had been caught in Germany

What a woman. Probably the most badass woman in history. And not only that, beautiful too! How sad that she died only being 58 years old.
Especially love that shrug at the start of the video
Actually, I can think of a few more badass example! I know this was written 3 years ago but if you still haven’t heard about these then check out Theodora of Byzantium and Olga of Kiev
@@BananaMilkishakeyou’re really going to compare feudal overlords to a woman who fought against fascism…
@torilongstaff5591 „fought against fascists” mf she also fought for Russian stalinists and communists and not for some good glorious reason to save Europe from hitler’s reign but simply because they were attacked by him because they could attack him first and occupy Eastern Europe themselves which they later did anyway so yeah I mean what’s your point
@@BananaMilkishake You believe in baseless lies, and yes, she fought against fascist.
@@memorydancer she fought against Nazism anyways, two different things. And no, the USSR did not fight a glorious fight for the freedom of all else. That also showed in the later years. Was she a patriot and was it honourable to take that fight in her case? Absolutely! Was USSR honourable as a whole? Absolutely not.
I am reading her book and it is very emotional to hear her voice. Thank You. I am lost for words.
D Holland-Axtell: I would also very much like to read it. Can you tell me the title and publisher? I would be very grateful
@@petrariedo8242 "Lady Death: The Memoirs of Stalin's Sniper"
Lyudmila Pavlichenko is truly an inspiring figure for snipers all across the world. To me, she's also a symbol of women empowerment and to not let your gender get in the way of achieving what would be considered impossible.
In the soviet union - rights were already standardized between men and females as soon as the tsarists dropped
Such women are an example to all women. I want to be like Lyudmila Pavlichenko, like Maria Skłodowska-Curie, Indira Gandhi, like Natalia Bekhtereva and others. I am proud that such women lived on the same planet with me.
“All soldiers forward to victory” most remarkable quote from her also….
Her beauty hides the many scares of war. She continues in pain, loneliness, & isolation. She was cheated out of a happy life. No wonder she wanted to checkout. We shall meet in paradise again. No goodbyes.
I'm reading her book right now and am on the chapter where she visits the US. It's really cool to be able to hear her voice.
i would have loved to have met Lyudmila Pavlichenko, what a great and fantastic lady,
"Lady Death” of the Red Army. The Greatest Female Sniper of All Time.

SING IT WOODY
I don't see how Woody was seen as such a great songwriter, he rhymed gun with gun and then with gun again.
A great woman. My respect! ✊❤🕊
I'm 26 and i have achieved absolutely nothing so far.
She was gorgeous
Lyudmila Pavlichenko speech to USA in 1942 , is an absolute witness of pride.
GREAT a girl. Lyudmila Pavlichenko was a beautiful being, courageous and worthy girl. We all are beholden to Russia, more than towards anyone else, from far. This ancient united Russia included, first Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kasakhstan amongst others ... Without this union, no one of us would be today free or alive .
Russian people and mostly Ukrainians lost 28 million deaths, to save us, occidentals and European countries .... while we were guilty from far in this terrible war ...
Christian Guignard, as Russian I need to say: thank you, English-speaking mate, we also remember English, American, Canadian soldiers, german and french resistance, underrated polish nation and all those people who made their life look like hell on earth for future of humankind
P.s. The most awful destruction nazis did in Belorussia, this country had almost died for 1-2 years under German steelboot, but even civilians never stopped to rise up and terrorize Wehrmacht
so much respect for her
Aside from her military prowess, she was pretty and well educated as too
it is really hard to not fall in love with a beauty she has
Really? Obviously I do expect much more than that.
She's an inspiration to us all.
"as a Russian soldier I'm offering my hand to great soldiers of America" she said
I like the way she wasn't really embarrassed at having accidentally stood up to speak when she heard her name, clearly not understanding the English proceedings around her at all. She smiled at the camera like "haha woops." Clearly doesn't have any confidence issues.
Battle for Sevastopol, one of my favorite war movie. What a bad ass woman.
Ruhm und Ehre!!!! Danke Ludmilla
*Ljudmila
She was a pretty lady, but seemed tough.
The soviets were very "woke" when it came to gender equality (i don't like that word just couldn't think of anything else)
progressive?
Well, they were the first country in the world to grant full equality to women.
please do not compare soviet "woke" to americas todays "woke" gender equality. the soviet women actually fought on equal with men. here in usa, women want all equality with no responsibilities, pathetic
@@edgehodl4832 I’m a woman and I don’t think like that :/
@@vivaciousmyosotis He's not saying that every woman in the US thinks like that. He's just pointing out the hypocrisy of bourgeois liberal feminism which has become prevalent in the US.
She amazing women and beautiful
Straight to the point!!
Она была удивительными женщинами и красивыми женщинами
Nazis had to send snipers specially to kill her. But she hunted and killed them in return. If that isnt definition of badass, i dont know what is.
She saw the word "fellow," doubtless transliterated into Russian script, and assumed it would have the same intonation as "Hello," likely the only English word she knew. So she puts the emphasis on the second syllable instead of the first.
Да здравствует советская армия
Don't forget. She only quit being a sniper because she had so many shrapnel in her body that any more could have killed her.
Good afternoon, claudio v. fairly nice video. thanks. :)
The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn 📕 that’s how I learned of her…
Amazing
Born and raised in Ukraine.
but she wasnt a fascist like the bandera thugs ruling the country if anything else she would have been fighting on the side of russia
@@Stoic_sensei you’re talking about Russia, the one that emblazons the half-swastika on all its’s vehicles, correct? The one whose fascist leader Putler refers to as the “Fatherland”? Only Nazi I’ve ever seen criticizing Ukraine was a RUSSIAN. He was proudly showing off his swastika tattoos. Don’t forget that Stalin’s best buddy was Hitler, who invaded Poland together. If you’re Russian, rejoice and fly your Nazi flag proudly! Don’t forget to display your half-swastika in your window. The FSB will be using that as evidence at your trial.
No
