Great tour video! You know why I loved it so much? NO MUSIC! When there is no narration, I want to hear the sounds of nature: the birds, insects, or any other wildlife. So thank you thank you thank you for not having any music in your video (until the end). It really helps me know just how quiet a place is!
Well I'm glad you enjoyed the video! About 95% of our videos have no music in them unless it calls for it. I really like the sounds of nature and capturing what we're experiencing out there and taking the viewer along with us. Thanks for watching 🙂 If you haven't already consider subscribing we upload content weekly.
I love Ft. Yargo, tent site 43 & 44 have amazing views. I did tge hike and didn't realize I was on the 7 mile trail. Thank goodness I asked someone and was able to turn around. 🤣😂
We've never been camping there but I wouldn't mind going back! It was a really nice park. We did enjoy the trail it was nice 😁 We haven't been there since we made that video I guess it's time for us to return! Appreciate you watching and commenting! Hope to see you around in the comments on future videos ❤️
We really enjoyed this video, very informative, and an interesting and varied trail. Very well put together, you come across great one camera. Thanks for sharing, Shell and Pete😊👍
Thank you for sharing. It looks like a great place to take the family. Speaking of weird sounds, if you've ever heard a vixen fox at night while camping, and you didn't know what it was, it would freak you out. I'm glad you guys had a great time!
Definitely a cool place to check out lots of stuff to do! I might have heard it before I've heard some weird sounds at night in the wood camping over the years! Thanks for watching 🙂
Yeah I wish they never would have brought it over 😂 That's a pretty town to grow up in. There's so much to do in Georgia we're really lucky to live in such a beautiful place with lots to choose from 🌲 Definitely check that place out if you haven't already!
Thanks for stopping by our channel. Always a nice way to discover other UA-camrs! Great video, we look forward to checking out more. The whistle could come in handy if you ever find yourself lost and search and rescue is out looking for you.
Wow! Your videos are a little similar to mine except you give more tour and I stop and do a yoga!! Keep up the great work! I love how you keep it clean and simple!!
I love Georgia for it’s beautiful and lush green forest. The trail looks amazing Ave looks like you both owned the entire trail to yourselves! Great video!
Hi Nick and Rachel! That looks a really nice hike👍 Nobody will hear your whistle, they've all got headphones in 😂 Nope, I can't understand that either, but each to their own👍 Another great video! See you soon👍😊
Thanks for this very informative video. Great to know the history of the place and some info about the campgrounds. Hope I could explore this place someday :-)
Here is Rachel in her Natural Habitat 😂. With us going out and about we try to disconnect when we are out and about. Those invasive species reminds me that tv show that shows what happens after Humans are gone and earth takes over. Thanks for taking us around.
She's always trying to find something to eat 😅 Yeah if you let it grow it would literally take over everything. People down here actually buy goats and keep them on their property if they have it just so they can eat it and keep it at Bay.
Oh my gosh you guys are funny! Great video. Nice park and trails. I'd love to visit Fort Yargo one day! And I'm from up north. I've never heard of that vine.
There really is a really nice park! Glad we finally checked it out. Yeah I didn't think it went up too far north. Be glad Kudzu sucks lol Thanks for watching!
Oh yes! We see that vineystuffall over ( Florida lol)... it reminds me of ivy! Lol the whistle! And you guys have had that pack for awhile right? That is smart! I'm always impressed on the info Rachel remembers! I would have to cut like 20 different times lol.
Yeah that Kudzu stuff is all over the South! Yeah we had that pack for a while lol actually just got two new ones and they have them as well. Oh yeah she does a great job with remembering everything! Thanks for watching 🙂
Talking about the headphones...was there a guided walk tour? The reason there is so much kudzu in the South is b/c of our mild winters. Where it was brought from in Japan had really cold winters, so they didn't know until it was brought here, that it would be invasive as it is. They thought it was an annual that could be used for ground cover. They didn't know it could grow up to 2 feet a day and would go nuts in the South! This proves one of two things: always do your research or leave plants where they live originally. Love you guys, safe travels. Your friend in SC, Jane ❤️🙏
I'm not sure if they do a guided Trail walk 🤔 It seems like almost every plant they bring over here turns into an invasive species. You're right it's best just to leave them where they're at. Appreciate you tuning in thank you for all your support 🙂
Looks like we both had pterodactyls on the brain when we did our last posted hikes. 😁 Definitely kudzu here in Texas. When you have kids and are ready to get into RV camping, I know a guy. 😉 Beautiful butterfly. Nice, relaxing hike. Good job. 👍
Great video! Looks like a really fun state park! So sad when so many people are wearing headphones. Hopefully it brings them some calm, but always seems less safe to me and I wouldn't want to miss out on the sounds of nature! We don't have any kudzu in the Pacific Northwest (at least in WA) that I know of, but we have a ton of invasive blackberries and English ivy that try to take over everything.
I love the presentation that you guys achieve! So professional and really informative and fun!! It inspires me to step up my game. 😀 This was a neat place!
Well thank you we appreciate that! We try to share something in the video so everyone can learn something new about the area. The place was really pretty glad we got the chance to check it out. Thanks for watching 🙂
I do check the Ga state web site, & Fort Yargo's yurts are lower in cost than most yurts in the state of Ga. Red top mtn st park has one yurt and the price was nice on that one. Enjoyed the video!
Nice video, I think it doesn't matter what part of the country you go to you're gonna find invasive species. Maine doesn't have kudzu but we have a lot of other undesirables, currently purple loosestrife is blooming every where.
Hahaha my wife is the same way, did not know a stranger and will strike up a conversation with anyone. The whistle!! That is Rugged Mountain Misters favorite feature on his backpack. I have to warn him to not blow it 3 times!! I don't think we have kudzu in Indiana... at least I've never noticed it if we do. I see an offshoot channel, An RV with Nick & Rachel!!
Yeah I've heard of the whistles being on packs before but she just didn't know she had one lol because it's a fairly new pack. Probably too cold up there to grow. Who knows as we get older that's what we might transition into lol thanks for your support as always!
Great hike and history 😊 Isn’t it sad when we mess up nature by introducing spies? It’s the same here, not with that exact plant, but with other plants and animals 😖
Hope you enjoyed the video Thank you for all your support ❤ Like Goal 👍 300

So nice tour in Fort Yargo State Park/ Thanks my friend
Thanks ❤
I agree with your headphones comment. I used to run with headphones, but when I run in the woods, I just enjoy listening to nature. Nothing better.
It's definitely relaxing listening to nature but it's also a good practice to start doing for safety reasons. Thanks for watching 🙂

Tropical trail mix on the trail ♡ Love the tunnel walk! That vine is terrible. The park looks great!
The tunnel was pretty cool! Yeah that part has a lot to offer and its really pretty! Thanks for watching 🙂
Beautiful place and lovely nature sounds. All those people with headphones on won’t hear your whistling. Ha ha
It was a really nice park glad we checked it out! They're not hearing anything for sure lol Thanks for watching 🙂

Don’t know why they brought Kudzu here, it’s horrible!
Yep imported from Asia. They thought they were going to use it for erosion control and then it just spread like wildfire. Thanks for watching 🙂
