Wow! You just destroyed all of what I thought I knew from watching countless videos on YT about aerodynamics in general (high speed stalls) and Viper jets (‘biting’ by hard wing drop)! You just got a new subscriber 😆. You yanked the controls so hard at full speed, that I was waiting any time for the Viper to stall, but it didn’t. I guess the secret is the right order. You’re really an excellent pilot, sir!
@@alexandernentwig9596 thank you! I appreciate it, vipers will stall just like every other aircraft out there. It’s just on how/when they will stall of course a ton of controlled the flexion is going to create a surface stall on any aircraft. But they do fly really really good super stable, and they will do a lot more than everybody leads on. I have watched countless videos and people complaining about them. They slowly beautifully they fly fast. They do anything and everything. Just watch out for extreme control and you will be just fine. Thank you for subscribing!
"Yankin on that elevator" hell yeah man, that would have been pulling some serious G's in the climb out!! I've only seen you flying heli's until I watched this video and being that i've always loved flying fixed wing before I got into my heli's, im enjoying watching your flying style ripping that Viper jet around the sky. 💯🤘
@@rcguss thank you! I appreciate it, I started flying airplanes long before I got into helicopters. But I do mainly fly helicopters now I fly airplanes extremely hard and put them through their pieces. Sometimes they break sometimes they survive. This one has definitely survived!
That are super sharp acrobatics! Impressive! Mine is waiting for maiden tomorrow maybe but I was afraid of the stall tendencies shown in other channels. As you said you junked on the elevator and at least on this video nothing happened! 👍🏼 👌🏼. I’ll to build me a receiver plate I saw yesterday :/ I reduced the elevator on my 64 futura as you said last year but that wasn’t so bad. I had a lot of stalls with her flying turns too slow, but I’ve learned a lot too. I hope this one is Ok. With my 70 Avanti I haven’t had any bad tendencies yet :). Have a great weekend!
@@ficosk8 thank you very much! I appreciate it, I definitely fly airplanes extremely hard. The viper is a fantastic flying airplane and don’t let others scare you away with the bad stall tendencies of all your control surfaces are set up properly. Your elevator has equal throw on both sides. It will fly a lot of tendencies. Come from one or the of the More controlled deflection and enhancing the stall as you pull up. 9/10 it’s all in the set up on almost every airplane.
Nice. I picked up a 90mm last week to support a local hobby shop and because, I heard on forums that they can get hard to find. Horizon just discontinued their 70mm Viper and hinted a new version is coming.
The 90mm viper flys great! Probably one of the best everyday flying 90mm EDFs out there. I didn’t know they discontinued the 70mm viper from Eflite. I’m sure it will be similar to this one on the update.
Wow super awesome flight! Would I have seen yours flight a couple of months before I would have got her :P I´ll to copy some of your flying style when I´m ready :) It´s amazing how fast this small jet is, being the Vipers not built for speed (?) And your lipo really hold on! Keep doing this :D
Thank you! That really all depends on how you fly. On a 6s 3000mAh I get 3:30-4:00 minutes of throttle flying. But on a 6s 4000mAh and easy flying you can get 6 minutes easily.

Really really nice flying! Just ordered myself one before I saw your video 😊👌💪
@@Rombo-86 Thank you! It’s an awesome flying plane and a great daily flyer. You will enjoy it!
@@westhobbiesrc8051 I’m sure I will. Gonna be my first EDF only flown propeller planes before. But it cans be that hard I figure 😊

Great flying field. I have the same aircraft. Ready to fly once the weather gets better. Great flying!@
You will love it! Such a great flying plane!
That's got a beautiful sound to it.
Yes it does! The new EDFs sounds great!
Outstanding flying... Well done....
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Thank you.
If you don't mind me asking. What 3000mah lipo's were you using in the Viper 70mm when you shot this video?
I’m flying on a 6s 3000mAh CNHL 70c pack in this video. I also run Liperior 6s 3300mAh packs as well.

Cool video. What do you think the max flight time is for this ?

Wow. This is power 😮😍
The power is pretty good! Especially for a 70 mm.
When did u start with planes😊
Long before I started with helis. I was actually 2 years old when I started flying planes.
Has a cool sound, unlike the whiney, tinny sound of some EDF jets
yeah, thinks it them 12 bladed fans,as near get like quality, its only when throttled back you hear the motor/esc
The new EDFs sound great. It’s because of the 12 blades and stater design of the fan housing.
👍👍👍
