Crip Mac should have been buried under the jail, with just the priors and the auto-sear. His lawyer was worth every single penny.
I'd bet they just used a stock image of an illegal 3d printed gun. Same as the clips from inside the courtroom. No way they'd be so lenient on a pistol with a switch
Let’s all think about it for a second. The only reason he stood a chance is because of the kindness of strangers, allowing him to have access to top-notch legal representation. You have to BUY the ability to represent yourself at a high enough level. Fucking travesty.
Limited resources in the world man. Wanna make a difference, then spend hundreds of thousands on school and then choose to be a public defender. You’ll spend every day defending pieces of shit for shit pay, and only get a man like crip mac once every blue moon. Unfortunate, but it’s smth that’s hard to change.
I’m sympathetic to the situation, and I like Crip Mac. He seems like a good person overall. That said, I don’t think he should have a gun or go places where he thinks he needs one for protection. He self-admits that he has paranoid schizophrenia, that’s just a ticking time bomb letting him walk around with loaded guns. There has got to be a better way to keep him safe.
Part of the issue is that he was ordered to stay in a place that would constitute the need for defense. Rather than being removed from a place where people would look to hurt him to gain some form of respect, they left him there, without anyway to defend himself.
Yeah, the video seems like it avoids that completely. Lets not forget that Crip Mac is an active gang banger, schizophrenia is no excuse for that. He's bringing on a lot of these problems onto himself. He should get himself out of that lifestyle and use some money to get some of those gang tats lasered off.
Trevor better not fuck this opportunity up. Most people in his situation would've gotten the maximum sentence. When he's out, he NEEDS to move away from his neighborhood otherwise he will 100% find himself back in prison very quickly.

@@doginthedoorthe way that judges determine a sentence is a process, usually starts with considering the nature and gravity of the offence. this gives an idea about the sentence range. then they will take into account aggravating factors, like criminal history etc. this can add more to that range initially identified. then mitigating factors like personal and medical history, and whether it was a sophisticated attempt at crime or not and circumstance surrounding the offense at the time. then the judge will look at chances for rehabilitation and options that will focus on encouraging that and how they can be implemented.
