*Spiderman for Sega CD *The arcade Avengers *The arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles *All of the Lego super hero games on the WiiU *The arcade Simpsons
Not only that but the game version of Spider-Man is literally my all time favorite interpretation of the character. The game got his personality, his heart, and the troubles of his duel identity life down to a T and it's just enhanced further by Yuri Lowenthal's god tier performance. I'm even holding out hope that he (along with the 3 live action movie Spider-Men) make a physical cameo in at least one of the Spider-Verse sequels.
The Batman Arkham Saga is the best superhero game series I have ever played. Glad Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are brought back to reprise their respective roles from Batman: TAS as well as other shows connected to the DCAU ( or Timmverse). Hope Rocksteady games can give us more update on the new Suicide Squad game.

Spider-Man and Batman are destined forever to battle it out for who's 1 or 2. Most popular, best cartoon, best rogues, best superhero movie and best video game.
I think Batman had the better cartoon. There popularity is equal, some year's Spideys more other year's Bats more. I think games are on the same footing. I feel Spidey has the better rogues bc you can have a argument on who's Spidey's #1 villain GG, Doc Ock or Venom. We know Joker is Bats #1, and I feel Spidey's 2nd tier is better.
@@reggiebrown9508 The difference is that when you take Joker out of the topic, the argument increases. If you take out either Green Goblin, Doc Ock, or Venom; the argument decreases. Extra points to Batman for having iconic female supervillains.
Arkham City is overall the better game, but Arkham Asylum will always be my favorite because of the atmosphere. It FELT like Resident Evil Batman, and I am all for that. Also, Shattered Dimensions will always be one of my favorite Spider-Man games because it managed to get 4 Spider-Man voice actors from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, MTV's Spider-Man, 90's Spider-Man The Animated Series, and Spectacular Spider-Man in one place.

The fact that Hulk Ultimate Destruction was never continued. Probably the best Superhero game I've ever played. Unlike most superhero games these days this game actually had replay value after story if I'm not mistaken. I think you could go back and replay chapters. Which should be possible in any and every game with a story honestly.
Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is such an underrated superhero game from back in the day. Arkham city to me was so fun even though I didn’t get through it all the way. I was probably 10-12 years old when I played it… I remember just roaming the map with friends and that was insanely fun. The old graphics and music gave it the feeling that you were there! Being that young I couldn’t grasp a lot of concepts on where I was supposed to be going for a mission, but the fact that I remember it for how fun it was without beating it shows how great it is! Started playing Arkham knight tonight and it is showing to be about the same feeling which is great, but maybe I’ll have to play through city fully this time before moving to knight. Also Deadpool is about the same for me just I knew what I was doing, so Deadpool is #2 for me
No love for The Punisher for PS2? Next to Spider-Man (Insomniac) Punisher is the best. Your decisions in the game mapped out the ending. Definitely a fun game to play
There's this great panel - I forget what the actual comic is - of Spider-Man in the rain holding an umbrella and eating some Chinese takeout. It's like, that's the essence of 'Spider-Man.' Spider-Man has always been a symbol of goodness and doing the right thing and looking after your fellow man! 😎
Prototype 2 is criminally underrated. Personally I thought it was a massive improvement that fixed almost all my issues with the first game from a gameplay perspective. Though it sucked that I couldn't infiltrate bases like the first game, that's one thing Prototype 1 definitely has over its sequel.
Marvels Spider-Man easily could have taken the top spot. The powers and abilities felt smooth, the cutscenes were incredible, but the best part was definitely the story. The story from each game was phenomenal, watching Peter push past his limits to become a better him in balancing his life, to transitioning to Miles, growing into his own kind of Spider-Man. They even did incredible making it feel different and noticeable that you were two different Spider-Men in each game. I just can't wait to see how they push Spider-Man 2s limits when it releases. [Also not sure about anyone else, but I HEAVILY am curious about Yuri and her part if she has one in the upcoming game]
does spiderman has a great villian or great music or great story or great voice acting or great boss fightes like arkham city? no. but i respect your attitude. marvels spiderman is a fantastic game but in my op batman arkham games ar the best.
Happy to see GotG ranking that high. My GOTY from last year, and while not the ultimate superhero game, it does have one of, if not THE best narrative on a superhero game.

Of all of the games on this list, I own three of them, and I've played some of the others on this list.
9:38 - that flying car thought "oh shit the helicopter is not in my flight path but rather somewhat 20 degrees to the right so that i have to do a banana swing.
Personally I'd switch the placements of 1, and 2 but overall this is a great list.
Well all knew that Spiderman and Batman video games would litter this list lol I can't argue with any of it great list
I definitely agree that the Punisher game should have been on this list, very underrated. 👍👍
Can’t argue with that list!
You forgot the Punisher game. It's very underrated
Batman: Arkham City and Marvel’s Spider-Man were the most presented comments and I can definitely agree
I loved Infamous and I hope they either remaster the series or continue it. Maybe make a prequel where we play as Kessler or someone else.
We already played as Kessler in the first two Infamous games.
My Top 5 Favorite SuperHeroes Games are
1. Batman Arkham City
2. Marvel Spider-Man
3. Infamous 2
4. Batman Arkham Asylum
5. Spider-Man PS1
My favorite game of all time is:Marvel spider man PS4, Miles Morales: Spider man, Deadpool,Batman: Arkham: Trilogy,South Park: fractured butt-hole
Ultimate Spider-Man and both the X-Men legends games are awesome as well man
Yep, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. 😃Awesome!
God, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the bloodiest game I've seen till date
Nice video heros games❤
Genuinely surprised by no mention of Wolverine Origins' damage system. Seeing Logan get torn to shreds was nuts and memorable!
Great list of superhero games.
To a hero, a city is like a giant playground.
Batman: Arkham City is my All-Time Favorite Game
Same
X-Men arcade better be on here, along with Marvel Ultimate Alliance
When it comes to mobile gaming, Marvel Future Fight & Marvel Future Revolution definitely take the cake for me.. Point blank period
Love how you say co-op!!
Growing up I never remember once any kid saying “I wanna be dazzler” lol
It should've taken the top spot in my opinion. Fantastic game.
In my opinion it already no.1
Look at little PhoenixJr, gonna cry?
@@paulrazvan230 "I fail to see how thats my problem"
does spiderman has a great villian or great music or great story or great voice acting or great boss fightes like arkham city? no. but i respect your attitude. marvels spiderman is a fantastic game but in my op batman arkham games ar the best.
Happy to see GotG ranking that high. My GOTY from last year, and while not the ultimate superhero game, it does have one of, if not THE best narrative on a superhero game.
Dang, sad to sad nobody talking about marvel nemesis rise of the imperfects, game was on a whole different level, still remember getting home from school, all sleepy but still able to play a couple of hours being Daredevil and taking on the Thing🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful Top 5
