@Suchitaxx I'd say that's because of a trauma response. don't get me wrong, Hank and Connor definitely have father/son vibes and I'm personally all for it. but just generally speaking...when you have PSTD certain events can trigger flashbacks and when Connor died that particular time, I believe it reminded him of Cole. that's probably why he called him "son" he was reliving that moment.
