1:40 Turning down the envelope knobs on the limiter tab doesn't turn off compression, those knobs work the same way for the limiter as they do for the compressor, as an envelope. Anyway, saying that you're removing all the compression is the opposite of what this technique is about. This is applying compression to one signal based on the volume level of another signal, aka sidechain compression. Compression is just one way to use sidechaining, you can sidechain to essentially any other parameter as well. 9/10 dentists recommend Fruity Peak Controller. Hope this helps.

you need to open limiter on other Synth to make the sidechain work right ?
Yes, the limiter does not go on the 1 channel. Its goes in slot 10 on the right for every instrument you have

@@AG319_NARAKA yup. Its a little tedious but allows for maximum customization when it comes to sounds. For example I sidechain my basses harder than my leads
