      Brought up a great point too. People don’t understand that the pats dynasty had to rebuild that roster and coaching staff like 3 different times during their runs.

      @@adamf7089 Yeah but Gronk makes up for it with enthusiasm and just being generally likable as well. But yeah he definitely needs to work on being in front of the camera if hes trying to do TV spots for the NFL.

    2015 still hurts. Even with all the injuries they still were only a two point conversion away from the super bowl. Denver just destroyed our decimated offensive line.

      the 2 pt conversion only would've tied the game but I get what you're saying. Then again facing Newtons Panthers in the SB would've been a grueling affair. The Bronocs literally had the perfect defense to take the Panthers down

    Pats were a shoe-in super bowl team in 2015 until their O-Line fell apart with injuries late in the year. Gronk single handily almost won them the AFC Title game with no run game at all.

      Greatest tight end of all time. I don’t care what nobody says. That Denver game when Gronk caught that deep pass and then the touchdown I was excited until I realized we have to go for the 2 point conversion. We didn’t get it and I was like dang it so close.

      It was almost comical with how many injuries they dealt with during that season. The oline was so beat up at one time they were forced to play their starting center at right tackle even though he never played the position in college or HS. They were also forced to bring Steven Jackson out of retirement and he was their primary ball carrier during the end of the season/playoffs.

    Tom Brady was your ticket into the super bowl conversation every single year. Dude was an absolute beast. I will miss the level of confidence I had in us winning the game when I knew he was healthy and starting. Such great times man.

      2015 Panthers were one of the best teams of the decade and of the millennium to this point that 2000-2020
      Then the GM thought he was a genius and didn't pay the pillars on defense or the O-Line and said he would replace them all in the draft
      Now we are where we are lol
      And I said Sean Mcdermott should have been the HC and we should have gotten rid of Rivera
      And then Sean went to the Bills. And that was that
      I have called it right every single time there was a decision but I sit here and cry and now I root for Jags.
      That is my AFC team
      Panthers don't even know a play that can gain more than 10 yards. They throw it to the sidelines and expect the player to make half the yards they need.....

    Never forget Tom Brady and the New England Patriots did win the Super Bowl BACK to BACK in 2004 and 2005 with their victories in Super Bowl XXXVIII and Super Bowl XXXIX! The NFL will never be the same without Brady.🐐❤

    Lots of comments speaking on the 2015 team. The injuries were really bad. Makes the 2007 team even more impressive considering they had managed to stay healthy all year.

      Brady couldnt do anything without having a top 5 oline every year he playing + the best oline coach in football history and at least a top 10 defense every year they won a ring and in every super bowl there was a defense big play that made the outcome of it. It was not just 1 guy. Its was everything

      Tell us you didnt see Brady when he first began without saying so.
      Yeah.. everyone wanted pick 199, 11th backup to fill in. Brady grew, mostly Time. It was always defense or his o line giving him 7sec vs 1.7 sec to throw the ball. Here he grew and became the champion. Here he wasnt a 1st round pick..2nd..3rd..4th..
      I think if you never seen brady rise i get it. He wasn't mahomes his rookie or starting year. He was carried long enough to achieve his own success

    GRONK and JULIOUS was the two of TOM BRADY go to guys. JULIOUS and GRONK alway use to get open so that BRADY could get to them. I think that GRONK and JULIOUS was BRADY best two targets to get the football to. GRONK to me was special because he is big and he use to run over players push the out of his was in order to get to the N kone. Then comes the Big SPIKE which I'm miss since they are retired. Great work fellows job well done.

    Seeing the height difference between Julian and Gronk is funny lol. But on a serious note, they're right. Patriots have become the most hated team in the NFL. No matter what the scenario was, if Tom Brady was the QB and if Gronk, Edelman, and the rest of the team were active, you knew the Patriots had a very high chance of winning because they ALWAYS had a way to win a game. Of course, they always get accused of cheating but they were able to do some of the craziest plays that made your jaw drop. The culture and discipline that they established on the team throughout the years had to be incredible.

    Not even just going back-to-back is hard, I believe the stat is the season after teams have won the Super Bowl it's only 16% of defending champs have improved their win% from the year before

      The dynamics would’ve definitely changed. The Broncos may have had more aggressive offensive play calls to get first downs had their lead been 5 instead of 8.

    God! Football has gotten younger and nobody is watching anymore because it’s crazy now that Brady is gone. My goal is to watch 2 games and one Super Bowl. There is just too much pressure on these athletes. So.. I’m taking a break.

    My 2 favorite (Non Brady Players) of all-time were Patrick Chung and fullback James Devlin. In the AFC Final in 2018 the Chiefs defensive line wanted no part of Devlin hurting them no more when it got into OT

    Unfortunately the Chiefs will win. Don't get me wrong, they are a GREAT team. I just can't stand the missed calls on EVERY SINGLE CHIEFS game. The BS calls that don't go both ways. Yes, Brady and Patriots got calls but my god do the chiefs get WAY MORE

Also, it’s a new season. Mac Jones actually looks good under Bill O’Brien and not as Matt Patricia as his offensive coordinator and Joe Judge as his qb coach. I think the Patriots are gonna be fine.
