I really liked your vocal energy at the start of this vlog. For a moment I thought you had a guest doing your intro. Another quality vlog and loved your thought process on the pocket ladies.
The guy with KK in the middle played it horribly. He could’ve back jammed pre or raised flop but instead he tries to slow play, gets a safe flop, gets the action he wants while underrepped then folds when Doug could have any number of hands
I find myself unable to start any given Sunday without Doug's astute update. I think he's the best poker vlogger. Even the new intro music is starting to grow on me. ❤️👍🇺🇸

Do you always have a fixed preflop raise, ie. $15, when you open? And that could be for suited connectors, 2 broadway cards, or premium hands like KK/AA as I’ve mostly seen. Do you consider vary that bet size depending on the line up and the players’ vpip, your position, stack size, etc.?
@@kmsnow6292 initial open normally 15, depending on limpers and position, I raise more. Deeper stacks, bigger opening sizes. If players are calling too much, I raise larger for value. Crazy games I choose a size that would be a big mistake for my opponents and expect them to call.
