I envy you. Born in the Philippines but I have never been to Siquijor. Please enjoy our country and take extra care. Always drink bottled water to avoid stomach trouble.
I am a filipino from Cebu living here in the U.S. for quite some time now and I watched your videos and made me feel home sick. I miss my home country, nothing compares. Thank you for all your uploaded videos about my country and enjoy your stay there. Appreciate it! 🙏
These back flipping Filipino kids are entrepreneurs. That was so nice of you to give them money for effort. Been watching you as I do household chores here in Chicago. I'm in USA working as a.nurse. Thank you for taking interest in exploring the undiscovered and under represented Philippines. Filipinos are genuinely thankful for foreigners who take interest in our culture, values and traditions. God bless you in your future endeavor. Be safe always. Will keep watching. Me and family just subscribed.
Thank you for loving our country! Many people don’t really know what they’re missing. They look down on us without knowing the true meaning of simple life . 🙏💕🌿🎋
Thank you for supporting those little sari-sari stores, they earn little so those daily buyers are keeping them afloat. Paging the Tourism department of Siquijor to cement the steps up and down those falls to make it convenient for travelers/ tourists and to attract more tourists locally and internationally..
Nice video!! I love how patient you are with the locals! I am a Filipina married to an American and we live in North Dakota. We are so excited to go home in December. My family is from Cagayan de Oro City. Looking forward to escape the harsh winter of the frozan tundra. How crazy would it be to bump into you in our travels. We are also planning to live there in the next few years. We will definitely be following your journey!
I remember from your other videos, you said it's weird/uncommon for Americans to sing in public places. But now, you are actually doing it. That's Filipino influence 😄 So nice! More videos to come!
Sam!! What’s up man?! It’s rare that I see anyone from back home in the comment section! Thanks for watching man! I’ll actually be in Alabama next week; we should all meet up one day!
Good evening Jonathan! I visited Siquijor a few years ago! It’s a beautiful island too and has amazing beaches mostly owned by foreigners! Good local food to eat as well! Perhaps you’ll decide someday to live for good in the Philippines! I love your videos! Thank you for sharing once again!❤
Another small and beautiful island to visit is. Camiguin island. It has 7 volcanoes, white sandbad ,, lush jungle, waterfall and hot spring, a sunken cemetery of which you can snorkel for corrals, mountain to scale and a ruin from 1900's volcano eruptions.
i loved sequijor ; my brother got placed in there every time i visited in the philippines i always stay in sequijor . i hope you enjoyed your stay in the philippines
Siquijor is really a beautiful place. It’s the Philippine’s enchanted place used to be known for witchcraft and voodoo. But it’s now becoming a prime tourist spot. Thank you for going and sharing your travel experiences in our scenic provinces …
I thought I'd seen too many Cambugahay travel vlogs but this one's different-the stops, new finds (cliff), and particularly interactions with the locals, is what's different and special. Well done!
Oh I can see another couple travel vloggers on the rope swing @13:31. They are The Schells. I have been following their journey too and create good contents same as yours Sir Jonathan :)
I remember when I was in school we address our teachers as Sir or Ma'am or anybody in authority, I think its a form of respect and being polite. When I get here in the U.S. everybody just call them by their first name it felt awkward at first calling my supervisor her first name but I get used to it eventually.
Turon has a different banana inside, it's locally known as saging sabà similar to plantain, it also usually has jackfruit in it. Lumpia is always savoury but comes with various fillings and could be fried or fresh.
New subscriber here ofw from dubai uae it's nice to see you enjoying the philippines .take care man! 🤔😎 next top you visit sir! Albay, bicol my hometown where the Mayon Volcano 🌋🌋
You would really enjoy a road trip on the island of Mindanao. You're also getting proficient w the local dialect, and there's a lot more across the 'pinas. To help you w the language/dialect, words are pronounced by syllables w the sound of the vowels (A, E, I, O, U), w no dipthongs, slang, schwa, etc. Enjoy, and always ingat on your advantures.
lol so funny Sir Jon the guy said your eyes are blue means its very good to all Pilipinos hahaha omg with that eyes ALL PILIPINOS WILL FALL IN LOVE W YOU lol Blue eyes w good looks? GOOD LUCK🤔🥰❤️
I went there back in 2015, there were no people. Had to come back in 2018 and the island was already advertised on national tv, but still less people compared what you have in your video.
When you buy a coconut, you can ask the vendor to cut it in half after you drink its water. You can eat the meat. Always carry a metal spoon and fork with you so you have personal utensils to use.
Glad you did go to Cambugahay. Was thinking maybe you should have hidden your drone behind some bushes while no one was looking. hehe.. But glad you managed to take a little dip. Vodoo dolls for sale is funny. 😂
I’m encouraged to visit. Thank you, Jonathan, for bringing the Philippines to the world.
Thanks for watching! I just posted two other videos from Siquijor last week!
