If you want to visit many places, I recommend the DONNERSBERG, there is a place called ADLERBOGEN with a STUNNING view, or a tour of 9 km Saupferch - Drachenfels - Lambertskreuz near Bad Dürkheim, just fantastic there😍😍😍
In medieval times, it was not allowed to build a worldly building higher then the tower of the church. And if you travel the old roads of germany, you can see that the roadworkers allways aiming at these towers when they´re connecting two destinations.
Some facts to the DJH (German Youth hostel work ) The first youth hostel ever found, was the hostel in the castle of Altena. Setting in the region near the river Ruhr.
That is fascinating, i just searched for that castle and discovered the name of the gentleman who founded the hostel there: Richard Schirrmann (15 May 1874 - 14 December 1961). Thanks again for your comments!
Oh wow! You definitely know this town 😊 yes, there are signs for supporting Sebastian Vettel at the entrance to Heppenheim. It is a great little town, it has charm and was also recently as the location for a Porsche commercial that was used for the super bowl. I have also seen many cars with Vettelheim stickers in the windows. I really love the town!

Lovely area and thank you for the tips, I will head that way in the summer.
As always: good work and I'm also fine with the castles 😎👍

That is a useful piece of information for me to take away and look into, thank you!
Based on this regulation, there are still cities and municipalities in which no building is higher than the highest church tower there. :)
