May I suggest another awesome town and castle in the area? Visit Weinheim: The market is awesome, but also don't miss the Hermannshof gardens, and the Schlossgarten. Then take a walk up to Burgruine Windeck: From the lower end of the market, take the steps down, to the road, cross the road, and follow the footpath up the mountain, to the castle.
0:25 14. Jh. (vierzehntes Jahrhundert) = 14th century actually refers to the 13(xx) hundreds (eselsbrücke:) because theres not a 0. century. So the construction of that tower might be only around 250 years younger than the battle of hastings (early 14th century)
It says "frühes 14. Jh." which means early 14th century. So the castle is from about 1310 to 1330 AD.
Thank you for helping me with that, I really appreciate it!

A great suggestion, I will definitely get over to that location. Hermannshof Gardens is also a fabulous tip, thank you! 😊

The dot marks ordinal numbers in german, i think thats different in english. Thats what "st, nd, rd and th" are used for
I think you are 100% correct, it’s sounds about right.
