Really enjoying this, thanks! I have booked a same day return flight from Newquay to Manchester (Easyjet) in the early part of September. I have a hire car, but want to spend a few hours plane spotting. I have a handheld scanner and small magmount ariel that I want to take with me too, but not sure if I am allowed them on tbe plane in my hand luggage. I don't know my way around Manchester or the airport, so would like some advice on a good spot to park for free. Ideally a postcode I can put into Google maps to help me get there. I love planes, but have a phobia of flying, even though I love the views. It will satisfy my love of planes though, so had to do it! I live only 2 miles from Newquay Airport myself, so flying up worked out cheaper than fuel for the car too as I got a relatively cheap deal. A tip for a decent butty van would be good too!
Firstly have a great day trip! I'd speak to easyjet directly as to what is permitted in hand luggage so you get the up to date and correct information. We put the what three words for southside and where to park in our live stream Video descriptions however also Google spotters Wiki for more locations etc Few places to get food, there's a greggs nearby, also the airport pub of you wanted something a bit more substantial!
