- Here is how I built my amazing 8' long slanted desk with height adjustable legs for under $200. Don't spend thousands of dollars on a boring desk for your home recording studio when you can make a custom one for much less. If you have any questions, make sure to leave them in the comments.

Did you buy a studio desk or did make one? Let me know in the comments!
Was just looking for a 50 inch Touch Display and saw your Amazon review pic on the overlay listed there! Honestly, this build is sweet! Love stuff like this!
Thanks! Let me know if you pull the trigger on it. Its super easy to do!
Derek HOMEBUILT MASTER .... SUPER NICE JOB DUDE !!!
You are awesome man thanks for all you do keep it coming brother!
Thank you so much. I appreciate it more than you know!!
I’ve been looking into building something like this… Having the dimensions of each piece of wood is super helpful. Thanks bud!!
You are very welcome!
Awesome, thank you for this video, I really want to build a desk like this,
Thanks for watching! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you build yours

Thank you!
Derek‼️🔥🔥🔥
Awesome 🦾
Thank you!
Great job 👏🏽
Thank you!
Could you do a rundown/build on your rackmount PC? Would love you rackmount mine but there are a bunch of options and not a lot of info (especially with 360 prefilled water blocks).
Love the video, can't wait for more.
I can absolutely work on that!
I'm coping!!!!!!!
Please do!
Great
Right now I'm using a standing desk frame with a veneer top. O think I could make one of these and just mount it to the frame. I've got no way to make the angle cuts without buying tools.... Since I have to film for my UA-cam channel and use the desk for music stuff I'd love to figure out a way to mount my camera. This is awesome.
Before I made a desk, I used a wall mount tv stand and mounted it to the desk and let the front of the tv sit flat on the desk and used the arm to angle it.
And check out this camera I just got. It would be perfect for what you need.

@@TheDerekFrank How long did it take you to assemble the desk? I have a 55" TV but could also get a 50 or a 43. I have a 34" Dell that I'd love to incorporate.
I stream, make YT videos and record (just licked up the WA76 you've got there along with a WA-73eq). Presonus sent me the Revelator for review. Cool to see you using it. I've got the 24ioC as well. I've got 3 cameras I use ATM with a giant teleprompter on the front facing camera. If I play my cards right I could mount everything to the desk!
It took me a day to cut, assemble, and paint. I just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to watching it. Where are you located? I could always come make a desk for you for channel content!
@@TheDerekFrank That would be awesome! Like I just said on Twitter, I'm in Iowa City!
Nice! 💯🤘🏼
Thank you!
What if you happen to move locations in the near future for longevity? That's one thing I like about Argosy Console, as they were engineered to be broken down and snugged back togther like legos.
Great question. 4 bolts to remove fhe legs and then the top can be easily transported and is actually very light.
@@TheDerekFrank I see. My Argosy Halo is heavy as hell that's constructed of MDF and a steel metal frame body built to last for decades. It has the cam locks that I can unlock and dismantle the entire console desk into 4 to 6 pieces.
So after living with this setup for a year - how is it holding up? I have the same screen as you, and want to build one of these for production/mixing.
Its been amazing! It makes everything look cool and incredibly functional. If you make one, keep me posted. I want to see your progress
How did you mount the TV inside the desk?
I made another video about how I did that
What stuff do you have in studio
Most things you would have in a standard studio. Drums, Guitars, all the gear to record, microphones, you name it
