- Dr. Karen Emerson and her associate Dr. Amanda Gettinger of the Emerson Animal Hospital in West Point introduce us to an English Bull Terrier who had to be treated for congestive heart failure after a series of fainting episdoes.
I'm going through this with my little dog right now
It’s nice to have them live a good long life- IF it’s not one of suffering.
If your pet is going to suffer to death be a decent owner and put them down.
My dog is only 6 and she is going through this. Meds have worked for about 2 weeks, predazone and fusomide, but now she is rapidly declining. This morning we will be saying goodbye. Its hard.
Same just happened to our dog. Those medicines work at first but eventually the dog will decline fast. I’m finding out now that those medicines take out factors that a dog needs.
the guy and the dog look alike?
Rude !!!😡
@@madisongilliam9501 your right....sorry
You are a disrespectful waste of space!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
agree with mike. cha-ching and the dog dies of a sudden heart attack
My dog is older and has been having a horrible cough. I’ve had him for atlease 8 years and a homeless man gave him to me off the street. He has to be atlease 12 or older. His cough is getting worse
My dog had the same cough and since he started taking Theophylline, Vetmedin, furosemide and benazepril, he is doing great! You should take him to the vet and start just one of these at a time and see how he does. This is just my recommendation since my dog is doing so well on these meds. My dog is a 16 year old 7 1/2lb Toy Poodle. I tried over the counter things before I took him to the vet but none worked. I hated to see him suffer so much.
@@bethkramer5537 these meds are take together? Or there is time?
@@alexie838 taken together in small doses until you seethe best improvement
@@alexie838 My dog died at the age of 16 , 2 months after I wrote this but it was because another dr tried to up his medications when it was not needed and he was fine as he was. He was also old. I miss him everyday!
This breaks my heart shes dying
And worst of all its the dog food and allergies it causes that lead to heart problems
My dog also has this
What was the Symptoms of your dog and how you identify this please tell me
sushmaja nagella my chihuahua has this. She stopped going on walks a couple of months ago and started having violent coughs shortly after. We went to the vet a month ago because of fleas and just casually mentioned. We didnt think it was serious because shes 12 and its been pretty hot recently but hmm no, they told us she has a heart murmur and gave us pills. 3 pills every day for 30 days. Wilma started breathing very heavily next to my head in the middle of the night and it appeared that she could barely catch a breath even though she was sleeping and not running around. We went to the emergency vet yesterday and they told us that she has fluids in her lungs, its really bad. She looks like shes pregnant heh..i hope this helps
One thing i forgot to add, it appears that she had a mild stroke too. Shes always leaning to one side and shes not able to walk properly anymore.its really sad. Please take good care of your dog.
Crappy food...
The guy looks like the dog
This video is no help
this was worthless take to vet take to vet and be charged thuosands! for nothing
My dog has this and her vet has saved her life!
Its not thousands of dollars. They start with xrays and go from there.
@@rachelbennett3853 really when it was happened and how you identify your dog have this what was the Symptoms please tell me pleasee
Bullshit it’s not thousands of dollars
My dog has had CHF for a year and a half and I will say that the emergency bills are very high, but taking him to his regular 3 to 4 month appointments are affordable and very helpful at regulating his disease. The routine check up are also helpful at preventing emergency visits. Taking them to get checked out it is definitely worth it.
Why do people want to put "English" in this dog's breed? It's a Bull Terrier.
Rachel Bennett possibly because it was originally bred in England?
Uh, because the breed name is English Bull Terrier...
