Ok ty For the little demonstration Just want to add I’d took the fuel bowl off and there was no fuel getting to the fuel bowl that’s a problem I tracked it back upstream by taking the fuel tank off turning on the petcock and fuel came out it was at that point I realized it was not going in the inlet to the carburetor the gas inlet Or it was but it wasn’t coming out the float pin There was no fuel getting to the float needle pin whatever you wanna call it I took A paper clip And gently massage it in the fuel inlet to the carburetor body and then took the float pin gently out With that tiny piece of wire that attaches it to the float and a bunch of rust and dirt came out that was my problem also add an in-line fuel filter you will be cleaning the Jets and the pins and the carb much less ! I can’t believe they couldn’t put one dollar fuel filter on that Generator. How many people that don’t have the experience and or determination to take it apart just chuck it to the curb because it doesn’t run after the third or fourth time using it just because it doesn’t have a one dollar fuel filter that is ridiculously stupid
@@bytorprairiedog700 Yes, I have the Tailgater (same generator), uncrew the fuel valve from the tank, filter is on top of it. I took mine out yesterday. That's why I am sure. Yes you can change it, but is easy to clean. It's about 3/4 inches tall, and cylinder shaped. It like the old motorcycle fuel pitcocks.
I watch the video when they built the first atomic power plant in Ohio the big brains could design it but it took the local Farm boys make it work they knew all the tricks of Machining and mechanics
Teddy C I lived on a farm all my life and never paid anyone to fix my stuff. But we always figured out how to build things from scratch and make it work

I agree I add filters to everything I work on. Dirty carbs are the main small engine problems
