    Moyers has ( and always will) have my highest respect. He is correct in asking PBS to air the impeachment inquiry on prime time. I live in Hawaii and I do not have access to Wi-Fi. In order for me to get broadband, It would cost ( initially) almost $450 with $160 per month for service. Senior Citizens prioritize housing, prescription costs and electricity ( the highest cost in the entire US) etc... thank you for bringing this to light.

      Madasin ! I miss his shown and have since he left the show. He looks great and sounds well, won’t he come back to create a show or special each month. I also miss the McNeil and Leher News Hour. Judy Woodruff has let the News Hour down as she normalizes Trump and the GOP.

      GildaLee27 I believe he’s totally wrong on this issue enough of this bullshit media coverage of this circus please spare PBS from joining in thy he whole country is not as obsessed with as you people living in your bubble are there are other very important issues to be concerned about this bozo could possibly be gone in less than a year if you just allow the voters to right to be informed.If you are so concerned maybe you should be worried about the corrupt media hand picking the candidates they prefer for president and the complete blackout of the only candidate that speaks about what is important to the American people and not forcing this garbage down our throats

    Great to see Mr. Moyers! Miss the Moyers & Co. Show on PBS.
    Mr. Moyer's show had informative interviews, current events and correlating historical information.
    PBS should broadcast the hearings, it's the people's channel.

      @DennisMoore664 5 років тому +1

      @@reinerwilhelms-tricarico344 We generally know who has the say and we know that it isn't the public or politicians or even law enforcement. This isn't going to do any damage to the Owner class but it will help drive the distraction machine that keeps the rest of us divided and at eachothers throats. But like Nixon's presidency, Trump's tenure will be infamous for many of the things it has done and we will probably learn more about them and others over the years and decades to come after he leaves office. I doubt that Sondland said anything in that (or any) conversation that would offer a challenge the status quo of Empire. This foolishness is all just fuel to keep the fires burning.

      @Steffen Zander How has what improved anything? Getting Nixon out of the White House was good. The Supreme Court is a disappointment and still favors the rich over all else......so that's not good. I worked for Dow Chemical which educated me on the corporate greed and special favors they get from national, state, and local governments....so that sure as hell is not good. I'm beginning to think, Steffen, that if you put Dems and Repubs in a bag and draw one out on a dark night....a fella can't tell the difference. Money buys our government and we'll be lucky if foreign governments don't buy in, too. You are entirely correct. What are we gonna do? Sounds like we agree.....sure would like to find solution. If you have ideas...come back on it. Thanks

    What is a sociopath?
    A sociopath is a term used to describe someone who has antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). People with ASPD can’t understand others’ feelings. They’ll often break rules or make impulsive decisions without feeling guilty for the harm they cause.
    People with ASPD may also use “mind games” to control friends, family members, co-workers, and even strangers. They may also be perceived as charismatic or charming.

    My high school friends and I that summer watched almost all the Watergate hearings. I'll never forget when Mark said, "Who's this Alexander Butterfield guy who's on tomorrow? I'll bet it's something big," all the other witnesses had already been in the news or there was a short blurb as to what they would be testifying to. Butterfield had no blurb. Mark picked up on this and joked about how this quiet teacher-looking guy was going to stand up and rip open his shirt and tie and turn into Superman or something. It was long but it was also very exciting.
    Watching the hearings was an education in democracy, politics and what people will do to get power and keep it-- but it was also a moment when judges, senators and representatives stepped up to place the country and the Constitution over party and partisanship.

So please, stop pretending academic and literary achievement is a measure of intelligence, it simply is not and that sort of mentality is a part of the reason that caused the working classes to elect Trump to begin with and suggesting they are too stupid to understand basic English will do your cause and the authors cause no favours.
