There are only a few people on planet Earth that can play and sing this song as well as MJH . You are one of the few, and are one special young lady. Well done!
Ever since I heard her rendition of Policeman Blues I have been in love with this young lady. Such fine playing along with a great bluesy voice. I am enthralled.
I know there is a lot of people just like me that really appreciate a talent so young carry on the blues music of old south. Very well done young lady, very well done indeed!👍🎸🇨🇦
I knew there would be some MJH in your repertoire from the way you approached the picking in the last video. Lovely clean stuff - can’t wait for the next one!
The future is safe in this young lady's hand for sure... what a talent... can't wait till she is ready for gigs . She has a captive audience in me for sure.. I can see her name in lights already.
What a remarkable, talented young lady. Truly amazing to watch, and I found this because it's one of my favorite songs. Would love to hear this recorded with studio gear.
Darn I missed this one. Another absolute winner. Proof that autotune and click tracks kill mojo. You have mojo Muireann. You know since I have said it before, your guitar playing is great but I love your voice. Thanks so much.
Not sure if you know the power you are holding, but judging by the comments here, reducing music lovers to tears is not off the table! please don’t let anyone come along and try to get you to change your ways to try and sell a bunch of records. Follow your heart if that is what has brought you to this music and the rest will come to you. Thank you for sharing your gift :)
I’ll throw a few titles out for your listening pleasure - Kid Bailey “Rowdy Blues,” Lonnie Johnson & Eddie Lang “Hot Fingers,” Charley Patton “Jim Lee Blues”.
This is really great. Well done. I hope my own girls decide to learn to play/sing as well. The break comes from Robert Wilkins' "Police Sergeant Blues."
@@MuireannBradley Thanks for the kind words! Your playing and singing is truly remarkable. I first stumbled upon your version of Blake's Police Dog, and it floored me. I'll keep my eye out for more.
Very cool. I’ve been enjoying your videos over the past few days, only heard about you very recently. The break would be from Robert Wilkins ‘Police Sergeant Blues’.
Thanks Steve,I guess you’ve seen the last couple of videos I posted by now, sorry I didn’t see your question until now, also album on the way at the end of the year, thanks for listening 🙏☺️
My dad started teaching me Southern Rag a few weeks back but I haven't finished learning it fully yet, and I've kind of abandoned learning new stuff at the minute because I'm busy rehearsing & polishing material for the studio. First session is tomorrow 😬 Thanks for listening Duncan! As soon as I get a chance I'll get Southern Rag up.😊
@@MuireannBradley thank you Muireann will look forward to that 😊 good luck with the session, your dad must be very proud to have such a talented daughter 👍
Hi Nick, I grew up hearing all these old country blues records all the time at home, in the car, everywhere. My Father was and still is obsessed with this old music, our house was full of old guitars & every day I would hear him playing tunes by the likes of Blind Blake & Rev Gary Davis. By the time I was 5 or 6 I probably knew every note & all the lyrics to a hundred of these old songs. When I reached about 8years old I started trying to play his guitars but they were too big(I was tiny) so he bought me a little Dean travel guitar & put extra light strings on it & taught me how to finger pick in Vestapol tuning. If you subscribe to my channel you will see that last week I found an old video of me age 9 playing a Mississippi John Hurt style version of 3 blind mice on that guitar which I posted. Thanks for your interest, don’t forget to subscribe & share with anyone who might be interested🙏
Feeling really emotional seeing this young musician paying homage to the great Mississippi John Hurt.
Yes Bill, John Hurt really was amazing...thanks for listening 😊

Love that guitar solo.
Thanks Eric ! I can't take credit for it though, I borrowed it from Robert Wilkins' Police Sergeant Blues. 😊
that's brilliant Muireann, old time blues picking at its best. All we need now is a Blind Boy Fuller or Rev Gary Davis tune!
Thanks Chris, they're on the way soon.
Once again.......I love it. Keep them coming Muireann.

Well, we definitely have here THE blueswoman we need for our next 60 (at least) years! Thank you for kindly sharing your talent, ciao da Roma
