Back in the days, this was my favorite book of the series, with loads of new rules and materials to add to my games. I used almost everything in that book, which is still my personal record out of all the editions of D&D. I still haven't found another game supplement as useful as this one was. I continued using it even when Combat & Tactics came out, with most of the combat rules reworked and updated, because there were still some useful things in it.

I always wanted to DM a whole group of swashbucklers a la The Three Musketeers with Waterdeep as the backdrop but never got around to it.

I am not crazy on berserk.who plays there type.i don't see no one play them.hard to handle in group.
Agreed. It can be tricky to play right and not come off simply as crazy.
A cavalier would have an armorer. Doing it himself is far beneath a Cavalier.
